So, I was watching South Park no less then 20 minutes ago. The episode was called HumanCentiPad. The whole premises around this episode was that Kyle, didn't read the terms and agreement when updating his iTunes and he got screwed over.
So, this got me thinking, does anyone read terms and agreements on anything?! Lol
I know I don't read them unless its like a page long.

I read the entire Windows 7 EULA once... Didn't want to, but wanted to confirm that I could transfer my Windows 7 license to another computer, which is something I plan to do in the future.
Yes, I read, but only the 'I accept and agree with the terms of condition', because seriously, that's the most important part.
Tbh I usually skip to the I agree part lol but I do skim over it a bit to see what I'm getting myself into.
It embarrasses me to say that i never do since i am a Law student...
I skim through the Terms and Agreements at least to have a quick idea on things. But knock on wood, I haven't been screwed over because I clicked that I agree. xD

I just skim through it and ask what it's about. There is one guy at my job, when asked to sign something, went, "No. I don't sign anything without reading." I love the glare my assistant manager gave him after that. But, annoying as it may be, it's probably the responsible thing to do.

Thats why the HumanCentiPad was a failure.
But anyway, im not sure of what im gonna say now. But i have a few hours a week classes about "The Law". And we've been through things like terms and agreement. But isn't it true that things that might be considered wrong may not be put in a terms and agreement, like (Extreme case) If you agree to this term, we may kill your family?
And aren't alot of them are for a big part the same?
Well, in all seriousness...any of the stuff that people think about happening in that kind of situation would be highly illegal anyways. Doesn't really matter if i signed it saying they can rape me and my family in the butt at any moment if they so choose to... Doesn't really change the fact that rape is illegal lol. I do read the terms and agreements because you just never know what you're agreeing to so i'm always careful about these things.

Because seriously, I think the authors of the Terms & Agreement texts just want to play with us by writing such a long text about something that can be easily said in 10 sentences.
