Signature of the Weeks #8 Voting

Theme: Swimsuits

Rules and Guidelines:

1) No campaigning for votes in this thread for your own or any other signature. Any posts of that type will be removed and the entry will be disqualified. Similarly, do NOT post negative comments regarding signatures you’re not voting for. The idea is to have each individual decide on their own favorite without any undue outside influences.

2) You are entitled to vote for any signature submitted in this competition EXCEPT your own. You are voting for ONE signature, and please state a reason why you voted. Voting for a signature using multiple accounts will result in votes not being counted.

3) Not following rule 2 will result in your vote being deleted unless otherwise edited.

4) Any reference to subjects like missed deadlines, entering, not entering, are NOT tolerated. It provides a clear indication of who may (not) be involved in the competition, while potentially 'giving away' entries. Disclosure of signature author, be it yours or another participants, will result in BOTH signatures being disqualified from the competition and or disciplinary action.

Entry G gets my vote. Nice composition and nice use of colors. It gives off the summer feeling you associate with swimsuits.

I'll have to agree with entry G there. That is some insanely good use of C4Ds and lighting placement. Gives off a nice warm feeling.

I think personally that Entry H is a really nice entry.
The subject is not exactly what I'd choose...however...
The overall feel including the water extruding from the bottom of the signature is magnificent and feels as though it truly is summer.

Entry 'E' gets my vote this time around. I love the colors and everything to go with it.

I would have to say G. The coloring and use of smudging and C4D is very nice. The colors are very warm, and overall very nice to look at.

Entry G

The colors just snap and work!

(Next choice would be H, the water splash seems like a good idea, though not properly executed)

Entry H

It looks the nicest.

I'm going to vote for L. Overall less complicated looking than G, but G's color theme make me feel like it's a trip to a beach in hell, 'cause it utilizes really deep reds and browns.

L, on the opposite end of the Histogram, probably (read as: surely) could've gone easier on the highlights, but for a swimsuit theme? More appropriate.

Those are my two cents.

At 1st I was going to vote for G but meh it's L.
The reason I voted L is because it gives a nice feeling with soothing colours
everything is well put together.As what...

I'll go for entry 'E' it's inspirational and it makes me giggle :) It brings the.. Summmer in summer :) LOL

the sig is well balanced and smooth, and i just adore the text^^

I am gonna go with Entry L I really like the lightness of it and the way they used their effects.

I'll go for Entry L. It's got a nice summer-ish beach-side feel. I like it ^^

Entry M: I do dislike the border, but the background caught my attention, though the character seems a bit too sharp. Overall, it stands out to me.

Wow, awesome stuff! This one's a very tough choice, but I'm going with entry M. I like the crazy pinks, the background, the border and the text, in fact the text got me in the first place xD Great sig. But yeah, it's a tight competition this week. Good luck everybody!

Entry L

I was having a hard time picking between L and G. But I preferred L, with it's soft light effect.

Entry G. Love the bold reds and contrasts.

Entry L.The soft light effect makes it feel like summer, along with the water splash in the background.

I'm going with entry L. It's cute with the light colors and the lighting.

Entry L. The text works nicely with the lighting, and I actually enjoyed looking at it. The other entries were nice, but I kept going back to entry L!

the combination of effects and and the character is well blended and matches the overall theme of the SOTW contest--summer!
