XD you sound a whole hell of a lot like me! I want to be but I'm lazy and cannot seem to draw things the way I want them. I'm writing an original fiction for my manga and maybe get some one else to draw it or work on it over time (most likely get some one else to do it! XP)Quote:

Although I do have a problem with putting things off. So I'll have to fix that, then get to drawing more than one page.
Well, Im getting a degree in game art and design, but Im hoping to be able to create a manga-style comic once I get settled into my career...perhaps one about a game concept I make?
Well, in october i'll start to study to become a fashion designer because here is so dificult to publish manga, but i've made some comics and i'm working in a local magazine doing a lil story :p

I used to want to be; I wrote a mini-comic strip about a stick figure ninja once.
It was really cute, but I never did anything past that.
I may provide the written story and direction for the manga-ka, but with my lack of drawing skill, I'll never draw it myself. But, yeah, manga writer. Has a nice ring to it.

I've drawn some comics before, some of them I think were pretty good. But I don't think I'd ever want to take it more seriously then just a hobby.
I can draw it, and I can draw it well, but most of the time I can't come up with a storyline. So I usually collab with a friend and we come up with a few pages of whatever we think is funny at the time.
I've always been able to draw very well, and that sounds like it would be very fun to do. But alas, I have worked hard on something else and it would not make much sense to abandon it for something like that. Hate to say it, but at this point in my life it is not an option.
OOH, look for the name Baku on many a manga in about 5-7 years. I'm a great story board writer, and my friends are great manga artists, so yeah. Azukie-sha, here I come!
I'll watch out for you guys! Myself: I like to write good synerios but when it comes to the actual art... It kinda gets sloppy at the end... y'know? I never go past 10 page of comics. ^^*
