wtf it's not sexual
I never said it was. Why would you think it was?
Not my taste. I don't like it........... doesn't cute at all!!! If I give it to my girlfriend, maybe she throw it in the rubbish bin or at the swampy river.
Oh, it's made by LV, of course it's expensive, but honestly, if I had the money I would buy it.
$8000!! That can feed me for like 3 years! >.>
Materialism at its best.
Didn't know they made anything other than fashion accessories. So I thought any toys they made would be cheap things, as toys are not their main product, but more of a promotonal item (like Google's Android plushy is a promo for their main product Android OS used in smart phones). In fact this toy is based on a character in a couple anime videos, that were made by Takashi Murakami, that were used as online promo vids on the Japanse version of the LV website (videos that now only are on Youtube and torrents, as Japanese LV web page that had the videos has long since been removed, vids are from like 5 to 10 years ago now). So I thought certainly any plushy that was a character from the video would be cheap, as it's just a toy, just another promo technique. But WOW at $8000, it is MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THEIR MAIN PRODUCTS (an LV hand bag is like only $2000).
Oh yeah ?! I got a vasectomy clinic's complimentary keychain souvenir. I'll sell it for... a Million Dollars!
Beat that, you looser with a fancy name!
They made it into a cell phone strap? How cute! I used to watch the video all with this bear x3

Its about 4.75 years I'd wager
I want it!!! KAWAIII!!!!~~ OMG It's beautiful!!! >3< (But I gotz no cash)
Give me some fabric, a few buttons, and some fluff and I could just make the damn thing. Good lord, its called the "Build-A-Bear Workshop".
And yet people are spending thousands of dollars on a stuffed animal that could either be eaten by a dog or tossed into a toilet by a baby.
For one thing, since it is made by a famous brand, I think it uses real leather, not regular cloth as the skin material. However even being made of real leather, a plush toy keychain should still not be worth $8000. That price is insane, unless maybe there was limited production and only 100 were ever made, and being a leather product it is considered a piece of "fine art". Rare works of art tend to be VERY EXPENSIVE.
I worked it out in my head for the most part.
However, 4 years of $35 comes to about $7,300, or exactly $1,820 a year. Half a year is $910. That makes about $8,200, so it's less than 4.5 years. 4.4 years gives $8,008, which is close enough.
Also for the original question it's technically somewhere between 2.5 and 2.6 years' worth of grocery shops. Not 2.75. =P
I would never.
I can think of a million other ways to spend $8000. :I
This really should have gone in the blog section. There's no real discussion to be had here out of, wow look at that high price.
o.o; And for less than 1/3" of that price, I can get a Steiff Bear of better quality, and larger size. http://www.steiff.com/en/studio-bear-4001505500558 Eat it Louis Vuitton!
