Looking at the world though the glass
Have you ever felt like you dont fit in with regular people and you realey dont. Iv felt that way from eleamentry school up to today becouse of my disability which I had from birth. At birth i wasnot breathing becouse my obical coard was around my neck and that made me what docters lable mentaley retarted. O how i hated school becouse i was in *specil needs or special ed. Just becouse it takes me a little longer to lear does that hurt? We all have strainghs and flaws. If you cut me dont i bleed? If you poke me dont i react. Why must i be diffrent from normal people?

Yes, sometimes I do. It's hard for me to fit it, especially with people I just know. Yes, I'm negative sometimes of people's motives. ._. But then again, I think everyone feels the same as I do with strangers/acquaintances.
Don't be disheartened if you're different than everyone. You're not perfect, so are they.

Since 11th grade an onwards I really started to feel alienated from everyone else. I didnt belong anywhere. Not even with the people that didnt belong with the "normal" people, at least thats what I believed at the time. Now im not so sure, maybe I could belong somewhere if I tried harder...
Im sorry that you feel you dont like yourself for being different than the "normal" people. But I guess its hard to find a way to accept yourself when so many others do not, or at least we perceive them to not accept us.

Before I use to be the kid everyone hated or ignored, but this year A LOT of people are literally trying to be friends with me, and I think it's simply because I lost a lot of weight a look a hell of lot attractive than I did before, even though it should make me happy people are going out of their ways to speak or talk to me, I'm not because I feel the only reason they're doing it is because I'm not disgusting anymore. When they do speak to me though, I always respond nicely, but I never feel like I really belong with them because I did not before simply because of my looks. It would be 10 times worse if I came out, I would never have any male friends in my school and then only the girls would want to be my friend just because they knew I liked guys too.

I only feel like that with my family at times. It's more of "whatever I do, it's not good enough", deal. They want me to be a nurse, I want to be an artist. They want me to do advanced classes, I wanted to take it easy-- I really don't care, I'm doing it, not them. And as for the society, no one really cares I guess... I don't know.

I dont think you can know that for sure. Not all guys are like that and not all girls are like that either.

For me, I'm generally accepted by most people, but not very often do I make friends. The way I think is too different, and I couldn't truly be mean to save my life, so I tend to drift away from most friendships, because many people tend to be conceited, arrogant and intolerable.
I'm not perfect of course, I'm just... strange I guess ^^

Just because your image doesn't fit in with the views of society, that doesn't mean you are a disgusting person, it means everyone else that says/thinks that of you are disgusting. The only ugly people in life are those that are hideous on the inside.

That sounds very strange, what kind of friends have you met hmm well maybe alot of people are like that I cant say honestly but I have previously met people who are not like you describe most people as. I guess the hard part is finding the friends that fit in well together with yourself instead of just finding acquaintances, of course I suck at finding acquaintances too but I was thinking generally through my observation of others xD

In the past, it seemed that whenever I was conscious of fitting in, I didn't somehow.
But these days, and somewhat ironically, it seems that I've managed to fit in better with people in general since no longer caring to fit in at all.
In the end, I came to the conclusion that, at least for me, the status of being "accepted" (i.e. fitting in) is not necessarily a matter of one conforming to some social norm, but embracing one's choice to be alternative, and to that end, simply not giving a damn as to what others think. Whereas in the past, I would be too shy to emit my true nature, these days I'm much more open to being "different" and will go out of my way to champion individualism.
In any case, it seems that ever since I took it upon myself to commit to and embrace the fact that I am indeed alternative, my family, closest friends, and even my peers at work have come to respect that which I'm no longer ashamed of. In fact, I've become more close with my family and friends since my committment to individualism, which has lead me to believe that being "accepted" by a given society might be not be so much a matter of following convention than being confident in one's own skin. Consider the reality that many famous persons are socially admired not so much because they are conventional, but because they are individual and not ashamed of being so. Sure, they probably got bullied at school (like I did) and had sucky childhoods; but they stuck to their principles. Well, bullies: who's laughing now?
