My drawings!!!^-^
Someone asked if they could have my art book once i was done. They said "i want to sell it on ebay when you become famous." i felt really proud of course but a little weirded out... even the people around me think i might be able to make it as an artist!
-
cool pics!! keep it up and i hope 2 c more!
-
They certainly are sketchy, but sometimes those are the best kind. ^_^ You have a lot of talent, it shows through quite clearly. Your friend was right to want to sell your notebook on ebay someday.
I really like the first and fourth ones. The first, while your scenery could use some work, the man in the pic has the right mood and posture. Silent, still, casual, calm. Even though he has a sword! It's at peace, along with the rest of the shot. <3
The fourth, I just LOVE the wings! Even though there is not much detail, the way it is drawn suggests that they shine so brightly that one cannot see each feather. And the lone feathers that have fallen off are so beautiful. <3 I can also see that you have an eye for porportions, she looks very lovely. Erm...is she seeing anyone? XD
-
is she seeing anyone?! your weird...:lol2:
-
wow those are coolio!!!! i like them, hope i see more of them soon.
-
i like them ^^ can i have your art book instead? XD
-
I like the style, its good to have your own distinct style because that's what makes everyone like how you draw.. I'd like to see some finished works eh?
-
Hey keoko
You already know my opinion since I PMed you when you still didn't have this thread. But I see some new pictures here since then. The first one looks beautiful!! Copernicus just said it all! So yeah, keep up and looking forward to some finished work as well
Peace~:ninja:

The pictures are a little too sketchy for my likes, but they are very good.
I like the 4th one, its really cool.
-
im a sketchy drawer too so these are really good in my opinion
keep up the good work X3
-
Thanks everyone and i know youd like to see some finished work but Im not sure about my inking. I dont even think I have the right things for it! I must admit I still have some work for these improvements that are vital for my goal :oy: and all that blah(with the big words and such)
-
I think They are actually very good!!
You are original, I love that, to have you own draws that are only yours... I know it sounds strange... I'm saying that because I can only draw having a base, in other words i just make copys... and sometimes it turns out annoying not to have your own ideas on the paper... You know what I mean right?
I love the 1st and the 3rd draws!! They're just great, but you should work out the details, that's very important in my opinion!!
-
there nice keep up the work!
-
Inking isn't to hard, you just gotta get use to it though.
The equipment isn't to expensive (it cost me under 5 Euros for everything).
If you don't want the ink to run, I suggest using a 130-140 gram paper (normal printing paper is 80-90 grams).
But if you are thinking of using a regular pen then any paper is fine.

nice drawings a hundred times better than mine . Try putting some colour i wanna see it with colour

Yo, a certain commenter reminded me of how much i love link from the legend of zelda! So i drew him and inked him putting forth my confedence so it woudnt look bad (if you dont feel like drawing it comes out bad) my brother personally said it wasnt that good but all he draws are stick figures! he can help me with his art critisim though.
-
wow....im so jelous of that link pic T~T
-
Ahmm...
Ok, for a first time its not that bad.
The small details on his clothes are very good.
Some advice though, first draw the whole picture with a pencil (ligthly), and then go over it with the ink.
That way there will be less mistakes.
As for the shading I don't sugest doing it unless you are very good.
I do it with pencil later so that there are different tones.
The profesionals use some kind of paper that they stick on after or they shade it on a computer.
But its a good start.

Nice work!!
love the angel one!!
and this last one has really good details... I love details!!:p
But you should practice a litle more... I desagree with mE. I thinks you should try to shade, 1st with base in othe pictures or even loking around you (it really helps sometimes!!) with time you'll get use to it, besides it's a lot better because it makes the draws a lot deeper!!
Keep it up!!
-
I like how you did with the sketch especially the forth one. Keep it up and you'll be sure to a great artist!
-
I think the Link one looks nice for a first.
Inking is easy. You just need to practice to get better at it, just like on everything else. I'm sure you'll get the hand of it eventually. Also the detailing looks great!
About the shading and other details on the clothing such as the folds, I think you should practice those, but not on drawings you want to claim officially finished. Make a lot of sketches. Look for tutorials on the internet, but I think most of all you should observe things. Observe what goes on on the street, it really helps.
Keep up!
Peace~:ninja:

I also think you should shade it.
But I am not sure that you should do it with inking.
Because its hard to get a whole variate of tones using ink.
Draw the whole picture and ink it, than just try shading it with a pencil, that way you can make a lot more different tones of gray and make the picture have more depth.
-
haha....ill try to remember that everyone...:paint:

Very nice, great job keoko.
