There was never a beginning, and there will never be an end. Death is but a phase of an endless cycle, like the periodic knocking of a wheel on its axis. This is the truth for all things, men, animals, nations, religion, even worlds. Nothing can avoid these preordained changes. However, it is during these knockings and transitory periods that the cycle is at its most frail. If a certain force were to be applied at the right angle the entire wheel of existence could be thrown off. The question is, when that happens, how will you guide the wheel that rolls?
The Fall:
Our world ended just as it always had, by the hands of men. That is not to blame the men for the stagnant state of the world, it is merely to say that since the cycle of existence is powered by the will of men, the Anima, then it goes that it is this power that ends each cycle as well. As time passed, men fell in to sin and squalor. They lost the childish lust for exploration and became jaded on their successes. Without the air of expansion and intellectual discovery the world began to decay, even if the vast majority of people never even realized it.
However, three young men all knew what was coming, and they knew what needed to be done. These people are now known as the Trinity. Together they used the power of ancient scripture to bring about the end of the cycle. On July 13 2015, the Shard of Tetragrammaton fell to earth and within moments all life on the face of the earth had been disintegrated. The world returned to a state of Chaos, everything became infused with human Emotion and Energy but none of the Divine Triad that allowed human existence. Instead, from the combination of Emotion and Energy came demons, creatures born of a single human emotion and without free will. However, what they lacked in will, they made up in power, each was capable of wielding Anima to fight. They wandered the world aimlessly, fighting each other without organization or reason.
The Returners:
However, not all of the humans that had been disintegrated were absorbed into the Anima. Some reconstituted and were abandoned into Chaos. These people however, had been transformed by the power of Anima. They had been granted the power of demons while retaining the freedom to choose, and to feel all spectrums of emotions, just as when they had been human.
When these people entered the world of demons, of Chaos, they were seen as gods. Around each individual grew a following of exactly 100 demons, each demon draw to some facet of the individuals consciousness and becoming representative of the person’s mental state. Each of these humans was granted with their power a choice, the opportunity to decide the fate of the next world. He who could reach the top of the Tower of Babel, and there grasp the Shard of the Tetragrammaton could speak unto god and shape the world that would be.

The Trinity:
However, the Tower of Babel was surrounded on all sides by demons and the door to its interior was guarded by an immense door with three keys. These Keys of Peter were possessed by the group known as the Trinity. The Trinity was a trio of individuals who, though their visions for the next world differed, were united in their distaste for the present. They had used the Keys to bring about the end of the world. When they reemerged in the land of Chaos they each possessed one of the rings.
However, where before they had been united, now they diverged their separate ways. Using these Keys as rallying points each gathered a like-minded group of followers and there three factions are three major forces that now head towards the Tower of Babel. Each of these factions take their name from what each believes to be the greatest human faculty and what should be the focus of the next world.
First, is the group known as The Wisdom, lead by Father Hayah. The Wisdom seeks to an establish a world without completion or dissidence, where all human emotions are revealed to be illusions and there is a great and eternal unity. Father Hayah, a former theologian, calls this the “Departitioning of Anima” as it will remove the boundaries from one soul and the next.
Second of the groups is the Sages of Intellect who are lead by the brilliant, if slightly bizarre, Yeshua. The goal of the Sages is to create a world of completion both physical and intellectual, where scientist consistantly compete in a never ending pursuit of the rational truth and warriors fight forever. The idea, cackles Yeshua, is “to create a world that will give birth to the perfect individual. For it is in each individual that the whole is manifest!”The last group is the Order of the Divine Will, lead by the immaterial Ghost. Their precept is to create a world where each individual could shape his experience to his own will, create their own cosmologies and experience through nothing more than a manifestation of their will. Ghost whispered, his voice dripping ambiguity, “The individual can gain nothing from else but his own mind. All other things are mere illusions and faes”
How Demons Work:
This is an important part of the RPG so it bears some explaining. You’re character will function as the leader of a 100 strong band of demons. These demons will be divided into categories based on the human emotion that each demonic type represents, and each will have abilities which can be considered symbolic of that emotion. For example, Compassion might take the form of a healer, while Fury would take the form of a lightly armored Berserker style soldier. Also, demons can be similar but not the same based off the nuances of the emotion. Cunning may take the form of a rogue that relies on stealth while Deceit might be a wizard who uses illusion spells.
After a demon dies it returns to the Anima for a time and then is pushed back out into the real world, thus if you’re army is killed it will eventually regenerate, however this will take time corresponding to the severity of the casualties.
The composition of the force will be based upon your character’s psychology, where the force is made up of the characters dominate emotions. All characters will be aware of this fact so it will be possible to for one character to be suspicious of another since there may be a group of Deceit demons in his force. In addition, the force will not necessarily be stagnant. Depending on the emotional changes you’re character goes through the composition will change. For example, say two characters fall in love with each other, gradually; demons of the emotion Love and Lust may begin to appear in their force while other emotions, like Greed, or Intellect might be sidelined to make room in the character psychosis.
As a final note, all demons that are based on a emotion are the exact same, i.e. all Cunning demons are the EXACT same and function in exactly the same way. Thus, once someone creates a profile for a demon type, all characters after that individual have to use that demon’s character sheet.

Personality: An incredibly calm man, he has never been seen in a moment of passion and bears about him a sense of authority and wisdom. His defocused eyes only further increase this sense of otherworldliness about him. He works hard for those who have faith in him to the point that he will over-extend himself in order to avoid letting others down. Despite this calm there is always, behind the bright glow of his skin, a sense of lingering doubt and sadness.
History: Like all of the trinity, not much is known about Father Hayah until he worked with Yeshua and Ghost to bring about the end of the world. When Hayah talks about his past he talks only in broad sweeping generalities, he used to be a Roman Catholic priest, but at some point he became disillusioned with both the Church and the world entire. He felt that no one could obtain salvation in a world so mired in sin and sorrow and felt that the world needed a new beginning. With the other members of the Trinity he brought the Shard of Tetragrammaton down upon the world and created Chaos, as we know it today.
He will admit he feels guilty about what he had to do but he knew that it was a necessary action, something that had to be done. He continues to say, “If God himself were to give me the chance to undo what I have done, and if I chose not to I would be cast into the flames of hell, I would not. For my salvation does not come before the salvation of others.”

Personality: Ghost is a quiet leader, he seldom speaks and when he does it is always to some practical end. He uses his nebulous form to avoid others, even those who want to speak with him, until he finds that putting it off any longer would be detrimental. He avoid others and spends most of his time shaping the land of Chaos into works of art, creating beautiful sculptures out of the anima-soaked soil.
He is a soul in pain, but he does not mind it, in fact , he craves the sorrow and agony of his own solitude and uses his emotional pains to provide him inspiration.
His voice is always painfully emotionless, hardened and inexpressive. His emotions are devoted entirely to his art.
History: Ghost is, as you might guess, not his real name. His real name is unknown and he does not give it.
When he was a child he was a solitary type who enjoyed painting and art work. He would spend hours after school in the art room just fiddling with clay or paints or whatever else he could, and when he went home he would stare out his window and watch the people from his families apartment window.
He went through a brief romantic period in his art, however, the trigger for this is unexplained and he detests the art he made during this time, though some of them were considered beautiful by others.
He read many books and viewed many works of art and came to view his life as an attempt to distill his soul into individual works of creation. He wanted to out do everyone else and dedicated himself to his arts, developing a skill with both novel and poetry. He won many accolades under the pseudonym Ghost but grew even more despondent from the world, becoming increasingly isolationist. Others were an anathema to him, his poetry and art came from within his own soul and not from others. Nothing good could come from relying on others for inspiration, beauty could only be gained from solitude. His attitude began to venture toward solipsist, the view that the individual was only existing thing and everything else was an illusion.
However, he read a book by Betrand Russell, who had been a solipsist and came to the conclusion that the world was not as he had thought. But it should be. His desires began to show in his art work, his poetry became a tremolo of solitude and a nocturne to the night of the lonely moon. Eventually he fell into the collusion known as the Trinity and deciding to make his perfect world a reality. Wherever one was alone and beautiful.
To distance his real self from the self he projected to others he gave himself a pseudonym, the same pseudonym he had used as an artist. Ghost.

Personality: Even if Yeshua had both his eyes, there is no way he’d ever be mistaken for being normal. His habit of dressing in outlandish ways, possibly involving eye-linear, black leather, and more belts then is strictly necessary quickly separates him from you’re average genius. And if ever you could judge a book by its cover it would certainly be Yeshua. His mind is just as bizarre as his garb, he varies rapidly between kindness and cruelty, between desire and aching, between genius and madness.
He had been like this even before he entered the land of Chaos. He has always desired the truth more than other children, and has sought to perfect himself in every way, in fact, his own madness might be a way for him to try and be everything at once. When he was a child, to better understand how his eyes worked he plucked his own eye out of its socket and dissected it.
It’s impossible to predict his reaction to anything but one thing is constant, he is an absolute genius.
History: He was born into a poor neighborhood and spent most of his childhood at home reading books. He quickly ascended at school and his teacher recognized his genius, by the age of 10 he was attending the one of the cities high schools. He made only one friend, a girl of 14 who could keep up with his intellect. The graduated from high school the same year, him 12 her 17, however while he gained a full scholarship to college, she was unable to attend because he family needed her to work.
Something changed in Yeshua after that and he became displeased with the way the world was. He studied voraciously for seven years, graduating from college and obtaining two separate doctorates. Eventually, he joined up with Father Hayah and Ghost, and together with them brought about the Fall, seeking desperately to create a world where the intelligent were not held back by circumstance.

Personality: Erin may look sweet and kind, but she has a ruthless spirit. She goes by no ones rules, following her own path in life. She never underestimates her opponents and uses her own tactics to out-smart the enemy, making him believe that she seems weak. Erin has always been attracted to this Chaos. She has no clue why, nor anyone else.
History: Erin (Who's name used to be Isabella Louis) grew up a lovely life. Her parents were rich, she had many friends, life was perfect. But, soon, the Chaos, and all was ruined. Her parents were killed by savages, raging for money. Luckily for Erin, she was only harmed, suffering minor brain-loss and a broken arm. When she looked at the new world around her, she knew nothing. She had no more friends. No family. Just a 16 year old roaming the streets. She had no clue about anything till someone found her on a sidewalk, asking for money and who she was. The person, a young woman, about the age 20, took Erin home. The woman, Laynie, named Isabella Erin. Erin Saski. Laynie, sadly, died from heart disease days later. She still had no memory, but she would recieve certain "visions" of her past. Erin just shrugged them off, but never forgot about them. One day, though, she was going through Laynie's things. She came upon two golden-colored fans. Erin has had little expirience, but can use enough energy for certain spells she learned to create.

(Erin is afraid of fire because she was expossed to it when she was 9. She was burned badly, her whole left arm scorched. She can still rememebr that incident.)

Personality: Quiet at times, and talkative on other times, she is very sweet and funny and oftens softens up older grumpier people. She is caring and Kind and will help anyone whom asks.
History: Amaia never really had a good life, but was always optismistic, Her parents died in a car crash at the age of 8 and her older brother Rau raised her. Though she never went to school she was unusually smart and knew alot of things even her brother did not know. After the fall, Amaia one of the survivors. Her elder brother Rau survived along with her, and protected her. One day he was killed a Demon. Amaia now is alone without no family and friends.

-Whats yours is mine: Grimgor is greedy beyond compare and his army composition can never contain less then 50 greed demons.

-Mistrust even what you own: He does make great use of his army due to not trusting them. Often gets beaten in battle or ignores good advice because of this.
-Insomniac: He doesn't need to sleep...ever!

Appearance: Looks very human. However his arms and hands are made from a hard black substance. Also his eyes and fully black and dont reflect anything.

Personality: Grimgor is greedy beyond compare. He doesnt trust any of his things to other people and if he see's something he wants he will try to take it. He does sometimes use cunning and cruel tricks to get what he wants but most of the time his reletlessness is enough. He is very smart inside but his overwelming greed means he can't use it too its full potential.
His favorate saying is: 'You haven't take everything from a man until you take their life.'

History: When he was human he was a great collector. Even as a kid he always got everyone of the prizes in the cereal. As he got older he started using his brains and cunning to get what he wanted. Soon he had collections of everything, ranging from cards and models to light bulbs and art. He was very mistrusting of everyone who couldn't give him what he wanted. He disowned his family when he got paroniod they were after what he owned.
He sided with Ghost because he wanted a world were he could create everything and anything so that he could own all. However he doesnt realise that he won't hold all and is at the moment being used as just a puppet to help ghost get what he wants.

Fighting style: Light armoured agile creatures. Then don't directly damage stuff but instead drain the power of everthing around them. With enough time then drain the life force out of something and add it to there own so they can continue fighting. Easily destroyed if they can be hit, gets stronger as time goes on as they gain more power. However they will explode when they get to much and die because they can't hold it.

Demonic Traits:

• Moonlights Trick: Can create powerful illusions, bending reality to make them tangible and real.
• Sword of the Fallen Devil: By reaching into chaos, he can draw a mighty sword of black energy into reality. (He must sacrifice 5 demons to summon it)
• Trinity Force: For Every three demons energy he takes, he can create a self stationed Fallen Devil blade under his control; as if he had more arms then he really does. (Like a telekinesis holding the 'spare weapons'.) Or, he can launch the energy of every three demons into a moderate beam of destruction.
• Somewhere in Time: Taking the energy of his remaining forces allows him to send himself to a far away location, nearly exhausted of all energy. (As if he traveled through time with his spirit)
• Lunar Sway: He can sway or swoon just about any creature with a will toward his own. (Like the Jedai mind trick) This only works on weaker minds. This also prevents him from being fooled as easily, but obviously it's in more intimate interactions were this can work. he isn't all knowing or all seeing.
• Sunlight Sonata, Marmalade Moonlight: During the day he's much more aggresive and outgoing, much more naive. His hair and eyes as well as his attire shifts to a red state. During the night he becomes more calm, timid, Intellectual. This dictates how he does things, depending on what state of mind he's in.

Personality: He's day and night, Heat and cold, Fire and water. During the day he's more aggresive, reckless, and complicated in an outward sense. At night be becomes introverted and calm, timid, even toned over in a sort of lacrimosa.

History: A wide range of emotions and feelings, beliefs and ideals, knocked into two separate bodies.. Yet peculiarly the demons don't seem to change. Crimso, his day time name was his extroverted embodiment. Azuro was his Introverted part, creating what you see before you. Everything before their union is much a blur, even to Crimo/Azuro themselves.

The truth was that, he used to be a man named Sahti Srihari. Majoring in Psychology and philosophy of all sorts, his whole life had been a bout of questions. He questioned just about everything.. Including balance.

Traumatic events in his life, two, one in the day and the other at night on the same day changed his outlook.. Creating what he is now that the fall has occured. Azuro and Crimso are two separate beings, yet one at the same time. Usually they reffer to themselves singly, but sometimes as 'we' and so on.

Fighting style: All out attackers, either melee or ranged with kii blasts or based attacks, though they try to achieve whatever they are set to no matter the danger, generally by using acrobatics. They will always take the most direct route to their target with their speed, risking detection and disadvantage.

Fighting Style: They seek out only the strongest or most successful of the opponents to fight, defending themselves to reach their challenge. In this case, they fight with Great Strength and Fire based powers. The only bad part is, they wont attack any healer sort of demons, for they technically have done nothing wrong. Otherwise they are limited to fighting only the Foe's strongest demons.

Appearance: Syrus is 5'7'', 190 lbs. He is very muscular. He has very deep blue eyes and blue and white hair that turns black and red hair when he is angry.
Personality: Many people would refer to Syrus as cocky, but he is simply confident in his fighting abilities and logic. He has been trained to not feel emotion so he is not hesitant when it comes to fighting.
History: Syrus has had a very harsh childhood. He stabbed and killed his father for tryin to rape his mother when he was 8 years old. He ran away from home soon after,was found by the Order of Divine Will and was trained furiously into an emotionless warrior. He soon became the right-hand of Ghost.Ghost sees him as a son and is very proud of the warrior he has raised.This is where Syrus got his inner-strength and will demons from.The other demons grew on him during his childhood.

Personality: Alastriona is a smart and cunning girl, however she is also compassionate and patient, yet also creative and willful, stopping at nothing to get where or what she wants.
History: Alastriona or Alice as she was called before the fall, was born to two writers, Moira and Elliott Phoenix. While she was born into creativity, both her mind and body had been stimulated to grow and become strong. She became an excellent martial artist, and she also excelled in her studies. She was quite popular with boys before the fall, but between her sixteenth and seventeenth birthdays, she had one boyfriend who seemed to be as loyal to her as she was to him. However, the day before the fall, she found him cheating on her with some girl she didn't know. She cried for an hour, crying herself to sleep. That night, she dreamt that the world ended but some people came back as gods ruling over demons, and she was one of them. Imagine her surprise when her dream came true.
