Do you think anime may have affected what you find attractive in RL?

I think this goes especially for the girls because while anime females look far more caucasian than asian the whole bishonen thing is, I think, origionally pretty much a Japanese/Asian thing.

So if you find yourself more attracted to somebody that looks like they're from Vampire Knight or Revolutionary Girl Utena that could be from anime exposure.

Hmm. Though I suppose guys could have picked up an anime fetish. By which I mean things like lolicon, a thing for sailor suits, glasses, stuff like that.

Yep! I like guys with more anime-like faces (small nose and mouth) and Merguys? I guess? I dont get that one. But I now like big expressiv eyes like Suzaku Kururugi and I now find Asian more attractive than most cuacasian(not to play races, thats just how I feel)

Ever since watching dragonball z when I was 7 I've always lusted after over-muscly men who can shoot rather large death beams from their hands.

But, in all honesty... no, I don't think it has influenced me. I like skater boys who can play guitar :3

i go for the tuff but at the same time nice guys with sharp eyes like ikuto from shugo chara

No, because I am not the best looking cat on the block, but I can talk a mean game.I find straight hair attractive, and anime doesn't have that.

Wait. Why would anime make you more attracted to the Asian look? It's a rare anime that has characters looking asian. Though I suppose more Asians have the bishi body type (ectomorph if you want to be technical).

I suppose I could see being attracted to the culture. But the Japanese are kind of their own thing even among asian countries.

Actually, my interests in real life have affected who I find attractive in anime. Then again, they change so fast, it's like a weekly fetish for me XD!

With the whole obsession with Asians thing, I talked to a couple friends about that, and they've actually experienced something like that once. I'll you one thing, too, they did NOT enjoy being obsessed over. The terribly sad truth, is that a lot of Asian men prefer Asian women, that doesn't mean there aren't men who don't though. Women are much more prone to go diverse.

And lot of Asians cosplay as anime characters.
And because sometimes they just look perfect at whatever they do. :T

Yes it has but i never did like caucasian wemon but i do love asians:) alot alot alott.........

I escpecially like the female warrior outfits or the pretty much any outfit.

BUT they must have long hair>.< I loathe no long hair..

i like how anime designers do their battle outfits

Heh.. I dont see how really.. Thats kind of like asking does a flower's
beauty compare to everything else that is attractive. Personaly anime
is a form of art.. and has unique aspects. But so does everything else...
There may be things about anime that are similar to every day life, but
all in all everything has it's own unique difference that makes it what it is.

Well, i'm not entirely sure why anime characters would affect what you find attractive in real life, unless you have some sort of severe anime/japanese/pocky/asian/asiaphile obsession, in which case, that person should probably seek help. ;p

I would not say that anime has changed my preferences in females. I have always liked small-chested and cute females with either short hair or really long hair. This was before I started adoring anime, and that applys to Asian girls too. I liked Asian girls before I started watching anime too.

What anime did do was introduce me to the best sourse of short and cute, small-chested girls.. which is Lolicon. Lolicon fitted well with my preferences which is why I just adore it. [Simple]
