I have once in my life had surgery at age I cant quite remember, I think I was around 8 or 9. I had jumped of a huge snowpile and there was no snow on the ground to break my fall and I landed on my elbow. It hurt alot and I thought I was gonna die lol, ofc I wasnt dying but it was painful alright. The doctors said they hadn't seen anything like it, it was "crushed". So they had to operate and insert 2 metal sticks inside my elbow for a few months, I also had to wear a plaster together with that.
Why did you recently have surgery and why do you have a hole in you? You're the thread starter so you might as well write and share too ;p
I've never had surgery before. About the worst I've been through is having to get some stitches. I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like to have a surgery.
You should've posted the question in the Thread Title, OP. You fail for that!
No, I've never gotten myself in a condition to require surgery, nor did I perform surgery on any living human.
Well in simple terms, I once got surgery which involved "breaking" my knees to stop me from growing.
Once. It involved my sexual organ. Releasing the mushroom from the cocoon.
Once (if this even counts), when I pulled out a muscle from my mouth and needed stitches to cover it up. Never played baseball again after that.
Last year I broke my ankle in a skiing accident. The doctors inserted six screws inside my ankle, and I had to wear a cast for two months. It was a painful experience which I never wish to experience again. Now I can walk normally and play sports, but the screws will remain forever in my ankle.
I had it once for my wisdom teeth to be taken out.. They werent ready to come out but they had to because they were going to mess up my teeth so they cut down into the gums really far on all of them! In addition they cut off part of my gum that was covering my tooth. Ew
I had my tonsils removed and i puked blood afterwards
Several. Mostly to put tubes in my ears (I'm deaf in both ears).. It was such a pain to deal with during my childhood.
Though the last surgery I has was when I was about to go into 4th grade. They were doing something with the palate in the roof of my mouth. However they didn't do all of their homework and something happened and they had to stop during the procedure. However the hospital tried to keep WHAT when wrong from my mother.. When I was in the room they put you to wake up my mom was reading through some of the documents pertaining to it, however in the official report everything she read at my bedside at that time wasn't in there.
Needless to say what was a supposed to only be a one night stay in the hospital landed me in 3 nights in ICU and 2 regular nights. Haven't been put under since. Don't want to after that experience. There was dried blood blocking my throat for days. Lots and lots of suction and swabs..... For days...
I've never actually had any real surgeries. Well, my mom told me I had some sort of dental surgery when I was really young, but I don't even remember it. I have to get my wisdom teeth out soon, though. >.> I almost got my tonsils out, too, but the strep throat stopped coming back after they said "One more time and they're coming out!"
I've never had any kind of surgery. My wife actually just had gastric bypass surgery last week. It amazes me things like chopping out half of your digestive system is 'normal' in today society.
