was the u.s in the right to deport all japanese durring w.w.2 after they bombed pearl harber or was it a huge slap in there faces for there freedom rights. i have to say it wasnot right. noone deserves to be placed in a cage with barbed wire and armed guards watching over them just becouse there race did something that was extreamey devastating

Yes, it violated their rights. However, nothing is nice about war, and debating the ethics of actions already scorned is pointless. No one celebrates this, or even remembers it fondly.

This argument is as old as the Pearl Harbor Bombings themselves. Was the government right? Probably not, but U.S. population would've probably taken things into their own hands and tried to kill as many Japanese as they could. Just like after 9/11 there were several that went on witch hunts to beat and kill Arabs and Muslims. At the same token, we could've accommodated them better so that it wasn't so much like an equivalent to a concentration camp. Also we're heavily worried they'd remain loyal to Japan, even though many were 2nd and 3rd Generation immigrants and only knew life in the U.S.. Still they remained loyal to us even though all the hell we put them through.

Would consider discussing this. If the OP managed to spell concentration camp and Pearl Harbor correctly. This whole topic seems like it was made by a 5th grader just reading up on the incident that is the attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7th and all that followed. Meh.
