Okay, I'm a geek so I totally posted this out of mere boredom. So, out of both internet browsers, which do you prefer? I myself definately choose firefox. It's easy to use, makes pages load a lot quicker, and it's cute. xD Haha. Vote!

Explorer but i have the other one too....my father put it there.....
Firefox is superior, since it actually renders the pages properly, also, it has some pretty nice extensions.
I don't really care. I'm running IE because I'm too lazy to download Firefox as well as the fact that A: My computer is fast and B: I have a good internet connection. Probably woundn't make much of a difference anyway.
Augh...I have Firefox but it doesn't allow certain things so I like Internet Explorer.
I tried to use firefox and i was confused....do not ask how since i dont know, i kept making the computer crash and things along that line. So I prefer internet Explorer since ive used it longer and know it better.
Been using FF for the last 5 months and haven't looked back. No popups, themes, extensions (the weather one is awesome), loads pages faster and more reliably than crappy IE, plus it's far more secure to boot. What's not to love
On my website I have a money system and whenever I post I don't get money because of Firefox. So if I die I stay dead X.x
Fire Fox. The encryptions are more secure, and the "Tab" feature helps keep multiple websites in one window.
FireFox,..........
I booms in speed, more secure, more organized.......
IE,...........
SLOW.....CRASHES EVERY FEW mins.............
ALLOWS ALMOST EVERY BAD OR SOMTHIN U DONT WANT, THEN CRASHES........
IE is what I use. I tried Firefox a few times, and didn't like it enough to change.
Well I do agree with that tab feature too...I am using it this moment afterall.Quote:

Pop-ups aren't a problem on my computer. Norton Internet Security is so studly, not only do I rarely see a pop-up, but It even goes so far as to block out the advertising on the top of the windows here.
Firefox sounds cooler so I'll go with Firefox.
After I started using Firefox, I get a bad feeling in my entire body when for some reason a page pops up in IE(from msn or some MS sofware).
So yeah.
i'm currently using IE and i also used firefox before. i think they're both the same only firefox has less pop-ups.
In my opinion Firefox totally destroys Internet Explorer - it's looks better, it's more user-friendly and you have so much more control over your browsing (eg. the tab feature) as well as the ability to customise the appearance to your prefered specification.
Whenever I use Microsoft Internet Explorer now I feel like I'm using an "old man" compared to my beloved Firefox *LoL*
Thanks,
Sayoran ^_^
....yeh um Safari for mac owns them both for the most part. ^_^
Firefox dude.
Firefox because you don't have to hassle with all the windows on your computer. Its all on tabs. Wohoo
It's not that firefox is better, persay, it's that it's not as frequently used. All popups and adware are focused more towards internet explorer, and not towards newer browsers like Firefox or Opera. That's why people think they're "better". I'd say give it 2 years, let it settle, and they'll all be hack-infected. For now, firefox seems like a better choice.
well i use firefox, and the only reason is because not too many people use it so its actually better. Once a lot of people start using it im going back to IE
mhm ... using Firefox ... altho ... it isn't the same as it used to be >_>
hm, lets see ... currently it uses over 95MB of memory x_X maybe a bit too much for a browser >_> and don't think, there doesn't exist spyware for it ... it does!
About pop-ups ... even IE has the pop-up blocker .... and with the new IE 7 you also have tabs ... probably, the only thing missing in IE would be extensions and the better look of Firefox ...
other than that ... IE (with the new IE 7), FF noone is actually really superior ...
Firefox 1.0.7., for me.
Internet Explorer - It seems to have more support for software downloads and what-not, because of the power of the "Microsoft" brand. This, ironically, is also IE's biggest weakness. Firefox is still pretty underground, so the virus programmers don't always notice it, while IE is the most used and well-known browser for the Internet ~ open-season for adware and viruses. I like to use it for saving video clips quickly. Other than that, its not very good. It has more pop-ups than Fox, it uses pop-ups for new windows, and its more vunerable to viruses and trojan attacks. I don't use it, except when I want to seen a trailer of a movie or game.
Firefox - My main browser. It can get slow, at times, but its more reliable than IE. Firefox has gained a lot of support as of late, and IE has a serious fight on its hands. I can't seem to save videos with Firefox, unless I go into a media player, and save it there. Firefox's "tabs" are very helpful and reduce annoying pop-up windows. The security is also better. I got attacked when I had IE, and If I didn't have Norton Internet Security, I would have been screwed. I haven't had any attacks that big, with Firefox. Oh, and the extensions that you can set-up and install, are great.
