Re: Google Chrome Question
Seems like adware. Look through your chrome extensions and disable anything don't recognize. And reset the start page in the settings.
Re: Google Chrome Question
I've never used a theme before, but I know how to fix your home section. Go to the wrench on the far right and click settings. You can change your home site under "Appearance" and also under "On startup" click the 3rd option "open a specific page or set of pages."

Yeah I know how to do that (I figured it out literally five minutes ago lol) but problem is idk what site to put in to make it the way it used to look... *sigh* I give up...

Do you remember what you were using? I just put in www.google.com and tell it to show the home button along with bookmarks.
Re: Google Chrome Question
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/fx/#desktop
Problem solved.
But in all seriousness, try clicking the spanner -> about Google Chrome, and try checking if it's up to date. It may be that the theme you were using is incompatible (it happens).
Also on my version, spanner -> Settings gives me an option to determine what the browser does when it loads. it's currently set to 'open the 'new tab' page'. You should check on that.
Else, adware, and you'll probably need to reinstall the thing.
But seriously. Firefox. >_>

I thought of re installing Chrome but then I'd loose all my bookmarks and I have stuff I'd have no hope of finding again...
and yeah I already have Firefox I just rarely use it lol
oh and I checked... it says it's up to date

Re: Google Chrome Question
Re: Google Chrome Question
the only problem i see is that you're using Google Chrome.
Re: Google Chrome Question
So ahhm, this is probably better in the Computers section, but anyway, what's wrong with Chrome again? I'm not one for snazzy extensions and Firefox is just a lot more sluggish on my PC than Chrome. Someone tell this technologically deprived derp what the problem is? I like learning new things.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. I won't argue that. Yours just happens to be wrong.

That was more or less directed at everyone as a whole. xD I'm wondering why Ranshiin and Kaleohano are so anti-Chrome.

Because I'm pro-Fox.
Also AdBlock doesn't work on Chrome. I don't really see any difference in speed between the two, either, so I just stick with what I've been using since college. :|

I don't really mind ads now and then, so I haven't checked it for myself yet, but I've heard a lot about AdBlock from Chrome users. o_0; I'll have to hop onto my laptop later to check it out, cuz I could have sworn that AdBlock was actually initially designed for Chrome...
