Animation Programs?

I want to start my own 2D animation series, but I don't know what program to use and what is good or not. The only real program I know of is Flash. I see alot of youtubers use it, so it seems popular. But I have been told over and over again that it's crap.

Should I just stick with flash? Or is there another 2D animation program you guys know of that I could use?

There is this advanced animation program named Blender. The animations are pretty good quality. Here's a link:

It's between that and Flash at the moment.

Yeah I think flash is great to start of with, especially to gain the basic skills. I don't know if you're drawing.. but premiere pro is good to allow moving images. (stop-motion animation) long but can look great.

Maybe try GoAnimate? There is a theme called Anime
