People who are hacker's out there will see these's screen shots and say "yeah thats worth hacking" and there goes your computer.
I do not see why people ask to see other's people's screen shot of people's desktop.. its really suss.. infact it is.
Do not screen shot your desktop.. there are hacker's out there seeing this ****!... and they know what to aim for... so practiclly.. your just giving them perfect aiming here.
Yeah.. I'am seriouse.. it's happen o me before xD
:p I is sorcerer, gib desktops plox
The best a potential hacker can do with your screenshot is determine what Operating System you're sporting, some of the Apps you use, the names of some of your folders, and maybe, if you have an icon in your task bar, what anitvirus software you run.
You can always blur out parts of the desktop that you don't want people to see though.

There are three possible ways hacker got control your desktop:
- You're already infected by the malware (virus/trojan/worm) which some periodically takes screenshots of your desktop activities, cache it and upload to a website owned by the malware creator
- You're unintentionally exposing your IP address or other sensitive information about yourself while are taking the screenshot which enable the perpetrator to use the information against you
- By the long shot, perpetrator stalk and study your routine online before the person hijack your computer
The part of online safety and security is yourself. It wouldn't work if you leave it solely to your AV or other person to do it.
