Xero XIII's Photos.
I bought a new camera yesterday so I can take pictures of things going on around campus (I moved into school this morning), so I spent a bit of time today walking around the area near my dorm and taking pictures of things; mostly Fox Hall, which is across the street, the Merrimack River, which is a few hundred feet from my dorm, and an old bridge which goes over the river.
I'll be taking more pictures as I walk further around the campus.

Some photos are nice ^^;
The first one should be a bit rotated and cropped ... so that the top of the building is horizontal.
Last one is also nice ... just the leaves on the bottom ruins a bit the composition .... some cropping may work ... but then the sun may fall out of the composition :/
Anyway, overall the photos are a bit cold imo ... lots of blue color xD
Edit: small color and contrast correction would be nice. You can also add a slight warmup filter on them.

Hey cool, you moved in this morning? Busy day! (at least for me it always is)
I like how the clouds look above the building, and the building itself is pretty neat. I also liked the textures in the third picture.

Wizzy tells the truth, some colour adjustmets and cropping work would make your photos much better, but you're on the right track, keep taking pics ^^;

oh cool! there is a photography forum now
i love the 3rd picture xero, but i have no clue what it is of
i like the colors on whatever it is though even though im aware that purplish paint is prob not suppose to be there XD

wow xero, i really like that last one the sun behind the tree..and the building pics is pretty sweet.

I'm mad that your sky was so damn pretty today! Mine sucked. =/

I see what Wizzy means by the colors coming across as "cold." Though it works well in the first photo. I agree that it could be made even better, more eye-catching and imposing by cropping and tilting it to get straight lines.
I like the last one very much, but the bottom left corner is too empty for me to enjoy the overall composition. Once I get to that spot, there's nothing to lead my eye back to the rest of the picture.
In terms of composition I like the fifth one best. I think it's due to the "X" shape being off center. I'm a sucker for subjects being off center XD Even so, the lines keep my eyes moving back and forth over the entirety of the picture.
Woohoo! Post more.
