Sweet, definitely sweet.
Salty. Sweet gets annoying after a while, salty doesn't.

I'd probably say salty food.
I like sweet foods, but too much sweet food (even too much fruit -_-) makes me feel sick/lethargic, and I don't really get that issue eating a lot of salted potato chips or crackers or whatnot (though I rarely eat potato chips anyway).
Plus, doesn't salt 'make things taste better'? (well, fool the mouth into thinking something tastes better). Probably why they put so much salt in food these days. That and it helps preserve certain things. :/

Ugh, this is a hard one. I'd have to say sweet food. Give me tons and tons of doughnuts and I'll be satisfied.
