Who is the most Manliest/Hotblooded/GAR character in manga/anime?

Only the manliest may apply.

Not qualified are:

-All characters who appeared in Jump Ultimate Stars but aren't in the "Man Man Team" (think of it as preliminary among them). FYI that includes all DBZ, Bleach, One Piece and Naruto characters. Period.

-People who have manliness for one-time-gags.

-Tsundere women. Being a tomboy or powerful despite cute is one thing, but tsundere =/= gar.

-People with guts for that one decesive moment. Every hero has that. I'm talking about a more pure type of GAR.

Things that do not disqualify a character:

-Being female. Even if its also about "Manliness".

-Awkward fashion or "Cross-dressing", under the condition other traits make up for it. Just watch Kamen no Maid guy and you get a picture of what I mean.

-Doing things in the name of love. Love is a manly thing.

-Lack of supernatural combat ability. Though it does helps alot, strength isn't everything. Likewise, being omnipotent doesn't make someone GAR.

-Being smart or strategic. Brains do not exclude guts.

-Being bishi. Though its a disadvantage at times, the attitude counts.

Let them serve as Guideline. Characters from the "Man Man Team" are automatically qualified, as they have officially knocked out the others in the preliminaries.

Kujo Jotaro (Jojo'z Bizarre Adventures)

Kenshiro Kasumi (Hokuto no Ken/Fist of the North Star)

Momotaro Tsurugi (Sakigake!! Otokojuku)

Seiya (Saint Seiya)

Jaki Daigouin (Sakigake!! Otokojuku)

Okay maybe he's an exception for Naruto characters because he didn't appear in JUS. (Same for Sasagawa Ryohei)

Though reasonable for Naruto standards, we're talking about among all characters here.

Sorry, Isshin is out unfortunately, even though he's awesome at times, more often than not there's always someone who can peak it (as mentioned most people from bleach already got knocked out in preliminaries by Jojo, Ken, Edajima etc. from JUS).

As for "the guy with glasses", thats Kamina, he's in both images above and also listed under examples in case you've missed that out.

I completely disgree with Kamina being on the list. He is not GAR. He dies for gods' sake. How manly is that?

I nominate Captain Harlock, any pilot in GaoGaiGar, Gennosuke Fujiki, and Guts.

Kenshiro is a given. Punching your friends to life? I can't go any further.

Yo Hinomura of 'Crying Freeman' fame. A ruthless assassin who sheds tears after killing his victims, boys don't cry right? Right. But men do.

Kazuya from 'Tosho Daimos'. That hairstyle makes him MAN ENOUGH to be mentioned in this thread but his love for Erika cements his name in anime's hall of fame of manliness. Anyone who beat-punches daikaiju episode after episode in the name of love is unquestionably a REAL MAN.

Doctor Black Jack of Osamu Tezuka's 'Black Jack'. A medical mercenary who sells his skills to the highest bidder. 'Nuff said.

Brock of 'Pokemon' fame. Maybe everybody will disagree on me about this one but anyone who gets gets dumped by women and stands to tell the tale only to get dumped a billion times more in the future is a real man.

Sanosuke Sagara from 'Rurouni Kenshin'. He survives without even having money in his pocket... That's manliness, Meiji era style!

Onizuka Eikichi from the infamous 'Great Teacher Onizuka'. A bad-*** and a tough guy with an inner softness and a great talent in dealing with all kinds of people. He has his own share of "powers" to boast as well, including extreme athleticism, incredible physical resilience, exceptional fighting skills for he has a black belt in karate, and an erratic intelligence quotient.

Tamiya Toraichi and Hikozaemon Otaki, the biker dudes of 'Oh My Goddess!'. Crude, brash, tough, cool looking, and a bit romantic, these Motor Club directors are definitely worth mentioning.

Yawara Inokuma, the main character of the romantic comedy/sports classic 'Yawara! A Fashionable Judo Girl'. Sure as the name implies she is in fact 'a fashionable judo girl' but don't judge her just yet for she is a tough one that can kick serious butt. Her interests are no different to an ordinary young girl but she has this innate talent in Judo. Like most characters in sports titles, Yawara undergoes excellent character development which makes her "man-up" big time as the series progresses. If Noriko counts, Yawara sure does too.

Mamoru Takamura, a character from another sports title 'Hajime no Ippo'. He's big, he's crude, he's jolly, and can be quite a perv. He's man enough to have that hairstyle and show it to the world too. A powerful and dominant boxing world champ, Takamura is such a powerful fighter he could even take down a bear. Let's see if Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather, Mike Tyson, or even Muhammad Ali do such a feat...

Neo-Russia's Argo Gulski of 'G Gundam' fame. I see Domon on that big image above, if he counts then Argo should too. Let's not forget his rival - Neo Canada's Andrew Graham.

Speaking of Eikichi Onizuka, Kamen Teacher (from the same guy who made GTO) comes to mind, as of now he seems to be able to share many feats with onizuka (though a bit more selfless on the outside) except for being a masked sentai teacher alter ego who brings back renegade delinquent youths that society has long given up on back to the right path by annihilating their gangs and beating the hell out of them. All that while giving special P.E. lessons.
