Re: any female otaku in the SD area?
Otaku females? Surely you don't mean the kind that fangirl and squeal over any anime-related thing they lay eyes on.

...I couldn't resist. ಠ_ಠ
But seriously, I doubt announcing this over a public forum would be of any use. Especially since plenty of people aren't even from the United States.

Re: any female otaku in the SD area?
As I was saying in chat, this probably isn't the best way to meet people in your area, right now the girls probably think you're creepy. o.o;

Re: any female otaku in the SD area?
REAL otaku girls only like yaoi men, anyways. So your out of luck, unless you swing both ways. (Of course if your asian... you shouldn't have trouble meeting the really crazy otaku girls out there.)

I beg to differ.

Really? I'm surprised you haven't met your fair share of crazy otaku girlies. I've had my share of experiences when I'm with asian guy friends. Especially the korean. They often talk to me about the crazy white girls who only like them because they're asian. Well it's not important, you wouldn't want the CRAZY ones anyways. Try to find a normal white girl who's into anime and asian culture, but not to an obessesive level. :$

I'm on the brink of going crazy if I hear one more of my fan girl friends scream about Super Junior
-
Re: any female otaku in the SD area?
@animeyay - Aw. Does that include SHINee? :< I really like them.. Super Junior is pretty good, too. But that doesn't mean every Korean male in South Korea is an equivalent to a Kpop artist, lol.

Well, probably because there aren't many around in my town, so my previous response doesn't hold much ground. But you're right, I need to look for a less crazy, Asian obsessed fan girl. When you meet a girl who speaks your language better than you, then you're in for it. No offense, but I don't get what the big fascination with feminine looking Asian guys is. Well, whatever floats your boat. If you don't mind your partner weighing less than you, then go for it. One local otaku fangirl I've seen on campus pays all of her attention to Jesus look alikes XD

AH YES!! Finally someone understands that!!!!! I have a female friend who once said she wanted to go to Korea to marry a Korean man. I asked her why, and she replied because the SuJu members were cute. I didn't have the heart to tell her that not all Korean men look like SuJu members... XD
But nah, it's cool. I listen to some of their songs, too, though I understand as much Korean as I understand dog talk. Think my all-time favorite is Haengbok.

Re: any female otaku in the SD area?
@Hideki Motosuwa - Pretty asian guys are nice to look at when they're famous and what's it not. But I do agree with you. Girls are totally blinded by the fact that not all asian are delicate and pretty boy style. :l They are also too immature to realize that there's more to an asian guy that his good looks... -__-
@animeyay - Lol. Again. Fangirls are blinded, and don't live in a reality world. Sometimes even I get shy or a little flustered over a good looking asian... but I know there's more than just looks.
It also doesn't mean that coz he's asian that he likes anime or that he's the next SUJU member~ Lol~

Yeah. Take me for example... I resemble a baby faced Bruce Lee. And I'm quite the beef cake :3 I have no idea how or when this fetish started, but nothing is going to change unless Asian guys are portrayed another way (I'm not talking about martial arts either!).
If you know a girl whose gone over the wall, pray that it's only a phase.

Man, that's a little hard to imagine lol.
One of my Asianmania friend is head over heels for skinny/effeminate/VisualKei boys, while another of mine has her heart only for the buffy/muscular/tough/dependable men. So yea, not all of those girls are into boys who look even more feminine than themselves lol.

Why? Does it have something to do with him having an oblong face and sinewy muscles? XD
I'll gladly open myself up to a girl if she doesn't mind me being in between effeminate and buff lol.

Nope. I live elsewhere and I'm not really an otaku. :I

Re: any female otaku in the SD area?
(Is it bad that I have no idea what the "SD area" is?) I am sure there are plenty of girls out there. You just need to get out there and look. Hang out with some friends, go out randomly and spontaneously meet people. That tends to work well. :3
