Re: [News] Windows 8 Consumer Preview was released
Windows 8 will only be for tablet's and touch device's witch is a shame but platform pc's will be releashed to windows 10 witch i honestly don't mind beacuse im 100% happy with window's 7 and every new release has its bug's nothing perfect so ill wait a couple years he upgrade when it come's out im kinda exited to see what it looks like in person,

Yeah it is good to hear about the windows 8 release but often makes a minus point as it is compatible only with the tablets. I am using the windows 7 now and i am satisfied with this and never had an issue. I think i do not need the windows 8 but hope it could be successful with the advanced features.

I don`t think it will be a Windows 8 for desktops. Also it looks pretty weird. I`ve tried it for one hour I guess and I think it was pretty easy to use.

I don't like the newer theme of server 2012... They are giving it that windows 8 feel. Should give users the option to switch to something similar in appearance to the older desktop environments.

There is a mod available for Windows 8 that brings back the old start menu, called Start8, made by Stardock, but it isn't free.
