An uncanny character resemblence
I just realized that the character Z-Strap from the American made anime-styled cartoon called Zevo-3, has an EXTREMELY similar appearance to Sektor from the Super Nintendo fighing game Mortal Kombat 3.
Check out the composite picture I made below that shows them side by side (click to see full sized image).

Re: An uncanny character resemblence
Don't see the similarities outside of body build, top knot and the color red. That's the equivalent of comparing apples and oranges.
-
Re: An uncanny character resemblence
When I first saw him in Zevo-3 I had to blink and take another look. I could hardly believe my eyes. I was like "OMG, they ripped off Mortal Kombat! A lawsuit from Midway Games is immanent."

Re: An uncanny character resemblence
Well then, you need a reality check, and fast.
-
Re: An uncanny character resemblence
....I can see where you're coming from, but in all honesty it's nit-picking.
-
Re: An uncanny character resemblence
wait, seriously now?
There are probably about a million and two characters that have a similar design to those characters. To suggest that they're rip-offs (or, at least I think that's what you're attempting to insinuate), is pretty silly.
-
Re: An uncanny character resemblence
It's a similar design. An uncanny resemblance, however, it is not.

A lawsuit from Midway? You know they are bankrupt, right? Oh, they also sold MK to WB.

Re: An uncanny character resemblence
I think I can see it a little, maybe in the colors.

WB = Warner Brothers
They make kid's cartoons. They wouldn't touch this game with a 100 foot pole.

ITT: People who don't know what Warner Brothers does with their money.
Next you'll be telling me Disney would never touch Marvel Comics because The Punisher kills people.

Re: An uncanny character resemblence
Case in point, a company will do what ever they think will makes them money.

And why has my reputation points gone down to heck? I mean really I'm not violating forum rules if I say something that happens to be stupid or uninformed, so I shouldn't have negative rep points. What gives?
And who's The Punisher? Is he an anime character or something? Never heard of him.

Re: An uncanny character resemblence
I see it, but it's not that great.
Negative rep points mean that some people either disagree with your post, or just plain think you're stupid.
It doesn't really have anything to do with breaking forum rules.

Re: An uncanny character resemblence
In that case. Luigi ripped off Mario!

Wait, this makes sense to my post how? O_o
You said that it belong to Midway, when I told you it doesn't anymore.

Because you lack the capacity to have an intelligent argument, or you are a troll and a poor one at that

"What gives?" You're making up stuff that that is ridiculous and we already know. And you're arguing isn't helping either. It's just making things worse, so if I were you, just back off.
And the Punisher is part of Marvel Comics, unless you really live in the stone age. Did you even heard about the movie, "Punisher"? Cause if you didn't, you're way behind on your history.
This thread deserves to be closed right away.

It was an offhand comment used as a comparison to your statement, so it's not really relevant outside of that context, but...
Disney will be publishing all future Marvel affairs outside of the comics once Marvels remaining contracts expire.
in 4 years expect to see the Disney logo before every Marvel live action movie.
As for the Punisher, assuming you're not a troll, which you most likely are.
A vigilante in the Marvel Comics universe who, rather than capture criminals in typical super hero fashion, kills them. Usually with bullets.
