Slice of Life as in basically a story of someone(s)...life? Probably Ouran High School Host Club...
Slice of Life is essential what you get when you take a drama (you mentioned Genshiken earlier...that works for drama, I guess), and strip it of the drama. Essentially watching the daily activites of a person or group as though you were some kind of camera in the corner of the room.Quote:

Enjoyed the Aria manga, and Ciguatera until it just kind of spun out of control...though Ciguatera was more drama than slice of life.
Not a genre I'm particularly a fan of. I enjoy things like...plots...plot development...character development...substance...
I also have a problem with the term itself, because it is very early to define loosely...and if you define it loosely, it will simply refer to watching someone's life...which is applicable to just about any series following a character or group, which is...well...pretty much every series.
Kamichu is the greatest slife-of-life anime and moe show.
K-ON! and K-ON!! (one more ! for second season <.<)
GTO had to say it
I dunno, the site i watched it on said it was slice of life
Nana?
Well that's easy enough.
Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou.
Clannad and K-ON then.
Lucky star
Minami-ke.
I agree with this. My favorite is Azumanga Daioh.
I just tried to look for slice of life anime and the results are mixed. It came up with drama/slice of life/romance and other various combinations. It seems they lump many other types in with slice of life which dosen't seem right to me. But like i said i agree with what you stated up there (1st quote) ^ thats my definition of a slice of life.Quote:

Futakoi was pretty sick.
I'll have to go with Honey and Clover.
