Powerpuff Girls Z?
No, It's not some DBZ/PPG parody. Check it out:
Ok, while looking up stuff about the powerpuff girls, my mom (who is a fan of the show) stumbled across a very interesting wikipedia article, among other things, concerning the show. However, the page was not dedicated to the original show that probably comes to mind when you hear some one say "Powerpuff Girls". It was all about an anime-style spin-off of the series with a plot featuring a more complicated message and with this new version of the show the art's style has been changed to anime style and the plot seems a bit more intricate. And it's not chemical X, anymore, it's chemical Z, hence the "Powerpuff Girls Z".
Here's a link to the article for more info:

I think it's kinda cool but I liked the show's original stylization. It said in the article that it would eventually be translated but watching the Powerpuff Girls as anime characters will take some getting used to.
What do you think?

I looked it up, it looks like I kindda like it. Just one look at the pictures, I instantly liked it. :)

I think that you're right when you said it'd take getting used to. I'm a PPG fan myself and I think the anime version is exceptional. Yet, I'm accustom to the original design of the charactors.
Still, I'm baffled as to why The Proffessor has a son. I did end up skimming the article on wikipedia derived from the link in your post but I found nothing on the subject. I could have missed it. I don't know. Would you happen to know anything about it, Yugure?

Looks like a good idea...are the PPG really that popular? Woah. I like how they anime-ted the Powerpuff Girls. ^^

I was pretty excited when I first heard about it a long time ago in an Anime Insider Magazine. I've been meaning to check it out actually. Back in the day, I was def. a PPG fan.

Wow, the professor has a son? ...wow. That's really odd. I really do want to see it, though, despite the odd new art. If I remember correctly, their creation has something to do with climate changes? I wonder what the message of the show might be?
Anyway, I am excited about the series. Does anyone know when the show'll be translated and sent to the states? If it already has been, I haven't seen it and would like to know where I might find it. But I'm pretty confident that it isn't here, yet.
