My school makes a WM-game (soccer)
next week and every class represents one country. So my class is japan http://www.animegalleries.net/bbs/im...es/biggrin.gif
I have already searched for sentences to support our soccer team and words in japanese, but I only found some words, but no sentences.
Maybe some of you (even japanese ones^^) could help me?

What are you looking for? I am able to help for I know a little japanese and can form sentences for you if you would like. But first I would need to know what you would like to say.

My favorite Japanese word is Obunai. A kind of multipurpose word for Danger! Watch out!

As for sentences some basic ones for greeting and that sort of polite stuff are:
Hajimemashite. (hah-jee-meh-mah-shee-teh. Meaning: How are you?)
Dozo yoroshiku. (dohh-zoh yoh-roh-shee-koo. Meaning: I'm pleased to meet you.)
O-namae wa? (oh-nah-mah-eh-wah. Meaning: What's your name?)
Ohayo gozaimasu. (oh-hah-yohh goh-zah-ee-mah-soo. Meaning: Goodmorning.)
Konnichiwa. (kohn-nee-chee-wah. Meaning: Good afternoon.)
Konbanwa. (kohn-bahn-wah. Meaning: Good evening.)
Oyasuminasai. (oh-yah-soo-mee-nah-sah-ee. Meaning Good Night.)

Oh, I need sentences like
"Go, Japan, go!"
"Japan will win" or "We will win"
Because I need this sentences for our fanclub to encourage our football team!!!

My favorite word in Japanese is "sugoi", meaning wonderful. I don't know if it'll help but that's all I could think of. No sentences...

"Pengintachi ha watashi no shouki wo ubatta" is penguins stole my sanity. But that might be hard to fit on a little poster... so...

"Yoshi" (yoh-sh) is good/excellent. I've heard parents call that out to their kids in games and stuff.

"Go" is still 'go' in Japanese. And Japan is either "Nihon" (nee hon) or "Nippon."

We will win: Watashitachi wa kachimasu! (wah-tah-shee-tah-chee wah kah-chee-mah-ss) Yes, ss. Not a typo. Hope that helped. =)

hajimemashite means nice to meet you.......

During the world cup, there were a lot of things like...

ganbare, nippon! (がんばれ！にっぽん！） : Good luck Japan!
faito! （ファイト！） : fight (said in a Japanese accent)

If you need more, let me know. My boy is big into sports here in Japan, and his Japanese is better than mine to boot. I'm sure I can get him to give me some others for you. The top two are the best ones, though.

gambatte masu means good luck. I can teach more but I would rather just pm them to you. I would love help in German though. XD

sorry to be picky, but that grammar is a bit off, gene. "ganbatte" by itself is fine; masu does not follow it. In masu form it would be "ganbarimasu". It's a bit formal though, so many will use "ganbare" or "ganbatte".
