Cocktail enthusiasts: Societies accepted alcoholic
Alright you closeted drunkards and boisterous alcoholics! What are your favorite cocktails? For me I am a fan of the Sazerac:
A drink with 2oz bourbon or rye, 2 dashes of bitters stirred in a cup with ice and then strained into a chilled glass that has a dash of absinthe coating the interior of the glass.
Another good cocktail that I made is 1.5oz of gin, .75oz of campari, .75 oz of st. germain, 1oz of grapefruit juice, and 1 egg white.
Show me what you got you scoundrels

I like the Cosmopolitan, though I don't mix it because I am a MAN.

The B51 is a good way to get wasted within seconds of driking it

And if it's summer, I often do varieties of Mojito. I also bought a book of cocktail recipes I never use.

Single barrel whiskey. Irish is the preference, aged at least 10 years and I'm in love. Very little ice or whiskey rocks.
As for other cocktails, as long as there isn't vodka involved..."I'm your huckleberry."

I like wine. Much less work than cocktails.

i can't emulate my favorite old western stars because i can't drink whiskey. i bought it instead of rum one time and god did i regret it. it tastes awful, i had to dilute it with coke just to have a chance of getting it down.
when it comes to liquor i'm a pansy. i like vodka, but would MUCH prefer a plain old dark ale. if i never drank liquor again that'd be fine.
Re: Cocktail enthusiasts: Societies accepted alcoholic
I drink just about anything. I do enjoy beer and whiskey a lot, but I do like to mix my own drinks. Mostly I'm just screwing around and picking random bottles to pour into a tumbler (my kind of shot glass). A good favorite of mine is a shot of Jack, Jim, and SoCo together.

I love long island iced teas. Consists of tea and rum and vodka and lemonade. All good things. You can put gin in it too, but it's a bit too dry for me.
Typically I don't do cocktails, though. I love just sipping on some whiskey. I picked up some called Pendleton a week ago, so that's what I've been drinking. Captain Morgan's Private Stock is also excellent.
And margaritas.
If there's alcohol in it I will drink it.

My favorite cocktails are white Russians (vodka and milk, kahlua if you have it)
one time I was riding my bike home from the liquor store and I found a blood orange tree and picked tons of them. then i squeezed them with some Six vodka and it was sooo tasty. But I'm typically more fond of dry cocktails, like my wine, I hate moscato and dessert wines. I'm more of a merlot/burgundy/zinfandel guy
