It's all depending on the state you live in. CA, NY, AZ, UT, FL, and I think MI are the only states that will not allow these cute little guys as pets. Don't know why, they aren't deadly, nor invasive. Plus, they are very "climate controlled", they can't live in certain places due to temperature.

Oh yeah. They're quite easy to take care of...and depending on the individual hedge can have pretty nice dispositions. There are 3 types of hedges: Cuddlers, Explorers, and Huffers. Sheridan is a huffer, and always in bad mood. lol
