Well if you don't mind then Siggy wouldn't mind hearing how you sound, Siggy is interested!!!
Wow you've taken classes? Like what kinda stuff do they teach you? Like, do they teach you how to practice your voice or something? And also how hard were the professional classes?
Yeah exactly and that is how it should be. And considering you like what you are doing then I know you'll put all your effort into it.
Ok ok. But still if you got work as a voice actor then surely you must have been in something, right?
Yeah but first you has to make your way up the ranks. So far how long you believe it will take you to get where you want to go? Cause right now it seems super hard.
Everyone does start at zero bu how fast and how high you move up depends on your determination. How much determination do you have and do you have enough to rise up the ranks like you want to?
Interests and hobbies.. let's see,
probably obvious that I really like video games. I really like to read book (specifically non-fiction) about things such as theoretical physics, sociology, psychology, economics, technology, and the like. I'm fascinated by linguistics and etymology, and I hope to learn at least 4 languages eventually, (I'm always trying learn as many new words as possible, lol). I really like Art, and I love to draw.. though I have been quite lazy lately which frustrates me; I hate not being able to allocate enough time to everything I enjoy. I <33333 music; specifically the synthesized kind. trance, techno, hardcore, eletronica, dance, house, and many other kinds which would probably be too long a list should I list them all. Manga? nah, not at the moment, I'm too lazy x__x you?
Oh, I see, I see.
Well I don't know much of this, but I guess good luck on what you're doing. ^^ Yeah, having fun it's all what matters.
But you know, you don't have to go threw all these hoops.
I mean if you're going Pro, probably but a lot of these people just grab a mic, hook it to their PCs and record.
Oh, I know people from www.voiceactingalliance.com I think that's a more mainstream and bigger site for voice actors, and most of the known ones are from there.
But yeah, that's awesome. Do you have any example of your work via Youtube or some site?
Are you a voice actor as an amateur(TeamFourStar or any of the Youtube ones) one of those who actually work for FUNi, Ocean etc?
Wait wait really? Have I ever heard you in something? Cause if I have Siggy would like to see how you do your work. *nod nod* I didn't know you already voice acted.
Ok ok I'll check it out if its interesting but wow...who knew you had to do so much just to be a voice actor. =3
I dunno if I could ever pull off being a seiyuu, but right now I'm just starting off as a voice actor here in the States. It's tough at first, trying to find your way into the business, but it's really fun being able to do all sorts of things with your voice; casting yourself as your favorite characters.
Hrm... well, there's a whole lot of stuff you need to do as a voice actor. You need to learn the basics of the business, practice every day and always try to push your limits, be a friendly and easy-to-work with person, always have fun, and be a really stubborn, die-hard person. Lol. I guess all that's kinda vague though, huh? Well, if you ever want to know what it takes to be a voice-actor, I'd definitely recommend a book that taught me a lot. "Voice-Over Voice-Actor" by Yuri Lowenthal and Tara Platt.
Wow really thankies for the linkies. I go on gogoanime but somehow that website slows down my computer. I still watch anime there though. The only place I can watch one piece and not have to deal with 4kids dub.
So do you practice being a seiyuu sometimes and stuff like that? What do you have to do to be considered a seiyuu?
