The other thing i can think of is that maybe the codec is wrong. Do you know what i mean when i say avi. If you don't i can show you how to check for it. I'm not sure if i can think of anything else that might be causeing it other than that.

That's weird. I just uploaded a file just now to youtube to see if i get any problems and it worked fine for me. All i did was click upload and selected the file and it worked. There are two things i can think of. Did you check the .avi file u are trying to upload to make sure it has sound before u are uploading it. And the other thing is that youtube at times deletes sound or video for copyright reasons. I don't think they would do that here thought but usually when they do they put a notice that it was removed. Good example

That video has no sound and if you look at the sound control, it has a x and you can't change it from mute. If you look below video descriptions they put a notice "This video contains an audio track that has not been authorized by all copyright holders. The audio has been disabled." So that's the only other thing i can think of, otherwise i just uploaded a video today to check and it worked fine.

O well i've made AMVs with windows movie maker before. And uploading to youtube, all u need to do is have an account and click on upload at the youtube home page. After that it's just selecting file from your computer and it automatically uploads it for you. Did you try that, tell me the error u are getting if u did or what's going wrong. Also make sure you are converting the project on windows movie maker to avi and you are uploading that avi file and not the actual project file.
