Just to answer your question in Clio's thread, you earn Gil by posting around the forum. You get a small amount of Gil for posting in the busier sections (such as Misc), and more for posting in the sections with less activity (such as Anime and Manga Reviews).

You can also get money by playing Blackjack in the Chat room, and by donations from other members.

On a side note, I see you just joined AF this month. Wilkommen to ze forums. ^^
