Well I can't argue with that! I just realized though that its been so long I really have little recollection of much anything in G1 series, and I dont believe I've ever read any of the comics are anything like that. Some day maybe I'll catch up on some of that. Doing some searching on the subject revealed some old movies too I didn't even realize!

Yeah I can see your points and admit the script and plot could have been better in 2 and 3. But I still really enjoyed em. I've only seen #3 the one time on the big screen, so it isnt very fresh in my mind. But I've got #2 on Bluray. I liked the concept of the sun harvester, but the plot about the Fallen breaking the rules and the other 7 primes sacrificing themselves to seal it away was a bit weak I think. I liked the shard and Wheelie. I liked how Optimus was killed, and all they had to do to bring him back, but would have bean more dramatic I think if he wasnt brought back in the same movie. Devastator was kick a$$ but killed to easily by the railgun which I think was definitely lame. The railgun concept is to over used in sci fi. They could have have drawn out the battle a little more and used something real to slow him down like a cruise missile first. Jetfire was a hoot. Too bad they killed him off to strengthen Optimus.

About the other Transformer movies... Harsh man! lol. I saw the other two movies in the theater and was blown away with them, well atleast the action and animation and all that... i think the last one might have even been Imax 3D but its been a couple years so not sure. Yeah the first one was best and there were some aspects of the plot and things that werent as good in the other two but I still enjoyed them. And being a big Star Trek nut also it was neat the Nimoy played Sentinel Prime.
