Because I've come to realize that you are an asshole.
You're little credit card situation with Microsoft could have been avoided if you have used your head and not put your credit card online to begin with. There was something called "Common Sense" you could have used, but seeing how you just decided to use your credit card without thinking about it and decided to take your rage and hatred of Microsoft out on me showed me that you decided not to use your head.
Also, much like Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony have problems of their own.
Giving up already? That's not like you.
I'll let you figure it out, then you can tell me.
Most barebones Office computers cost more than $500 each here.
My specs are this;
Case: Corsair Vengeance C70 Mid-Tower
PSU: Aerocool Strike-X 1100W (overkill but I originally planned on a serious SLI setup that'd need that power, best to be safe than sorry)
CPU: Intel i7 3930k (6-core), OC'd at 4.2Ghz.
Cooling: Corsair h80 closed-loop liquid cooling system with Corsair SP120 low-noise fans
RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) Corsair Vengeance PRO, XMP profile set at 2400Mhz
Graphics: MSI nVidia GTX770 TwinFrozr OC edition, 4GB GDDR5 (I get about 1250Mhz on the clock speed)
Storage: 240GB Kingston HyperX-3K SSD, 2TB Generic Samsung HDD
Display: 24" Asus VS278Q 1ms GTG gaming monitor
That's more-or-less a -serious- gaming rig. Graphics card is the weakest link, but also the easiest to upgrade. Not going to complain on a 770 though.
It depends entirely on the definition of 'gaming rig' - i.e. whether you want a computer that -just-about- plays video games, or a computer that is designed to properly shame a console.
In either instance, yes, gaming hardware here is expensive; hell, hardware at all is expensive. A good graphics card is anything from £200-400, the Titan's still go for over £1,000. The top-end Intel i7 CPUs go for £500-700 (my 3930K cost 500, which is $800-ish. My 770 I got for £150 second-hand, but the one I got (MSI TF 4GB) goes for £400 which is close to $600-650).
It's impossible to get anything for $600 here (£400) that destroys a console. Better guess is $1,200-1,500+. Mine, for the record, has so far run me $3,000 and I still have some upgrades to get for it, but mine's a rare case in that I went balls-out with top-end EVERYTHING on it, which might not be necessary for Ye Average Gamer who is happy with an old 650ti.
I need money for that tho.
I'd love to get a PC if I could though. PS4 and XBox One don't seem to have many titles that would be worth paying $400+ for it.
Darn, and I thought my anti-pseudo deodorant hid it pretty well.
No worries though, I embrace the Pseudo.
We'll have to watch it via animebox then.
