If you're gonna do Generations, make sure you are both good to watch and play online. Don't upload randomly though...try to stick to one thing for a while...You have to make an audience so sticking to one thing, or two series max is the best way. (Brawl and Mario Kart, for example) So if you want to do Gen, make sure you stick to it. Also, do you have the component (red blue green) cables for the Wii? I'll explain things further when you actually get the thing.

I thought you wanted to record PC Gaming as well, which you could if you wanted to with FRAPS. Hehehe

Anyways, the HDPVR is a good as using an Internal Video Card so it's all about how comfortable your set up will be. I heard that with Internals, you can record the audio in a way you can edit it but like 90% of the Gaming Community on Youtube uses an HDPVR and it works well for everyone, even if they want to edit something or whatnot. Tell me, you mostly will be doing Wii at start, correct? Since all you do is Brawl.

See here is that thing, you can't use HDMI because HDMI has a copyright restriction that won't let you record (PS3) , so that defeats the purpose of it. So you will have to use the component cables. Again, I guess it really depends on what internal card you get and a really good one can be expensive, I probably don't know but if it's on the 100s then it's probably crap but then again, it might not so make sure you read what it offers carefully....1080i, h.264 and all that stuff.

I guess do what you can afford and what makes you the most comfortable on using since it will most likely the same anyways, because as long as it can record in a GOOD HD then it's good.
