Well you're not going to get it right the first time around, unless you are a talented drawer.
You need to be patient and trial & error.
I suppose you are right. Faces have definately come a long way since I first started
See. Focus on the positive jazz of drawing.
I used to mostly focus on the negative jazz and well, I don't draw anymore but I paint instead.
I need to improve as I want to use it as a thing for when I teach History I want to draw like an anime Roman soldier or a Spartan Hoplite. You know to make the experience a bit different for the kids
So I take it you want to be a History teacher teaching ancient cultures? I hope that you can pull it off, it would be interesting to see.
Aye I'm going to Newman College / University in September studying ancient History with teaching. Just think if I could combine the 2 things I love Manga and History together and plus I could start a lunch time club or something to show how to draw manga
Well if you get more people into manga/anime and loving their history then by all means do it.
Someone did tell once that you shouldn't make a hobby into a job for some reasons that I can't remember. Its good advice, I think, but that depends on the person.
History isn't a hobby to me its something I want to do, manga is more the hobby really.
I want to try and bring in new methods to teach history like for example for studying roman culture style the classroom into a roman villa or forum (their meeting place if you didn't know)
Well I commend you for these unique methods of teaching but you are going to get some student who won't appreciate your methods.. I know what a villa is, when I was younger I used to a big fan of european history and archeology.
I was reffering to the forum part
