Isn't it weird how you can understand it but not write it? It drives me crazeh!!! *flips table*
Mostly, formal is just adding -います/ます to the verbs and using a couple of completely confusing words. It's as easy as pie
I shall now see the early Ryu's skill in Alice! Hopefully I'm good. I'm actually excited that I can be all bad cop now, how weird.
Lol, I envy his grasp of formal speech. x_x I can understand it fine, yus, but I'm terrible at changing it from casual to formal myself. :/ I don't remember yay posting a PDF. o-o *hunts down thread*
ALL of my posts in the Random Things thread are probably butchered. XD But hey, at least I'm being understood. :B
Maru's Alice game was pretty simple. That's actually the one where I was lynched D2 along with ZW, so you may as well read it for some lols. xD I've gotten a lot better since then though. I'll try and find one of the games that I'll be using as a reference for mine. Most of the games here have lots of generic roles, so I wanna make sure everyone has some sort of an ability. o: It makes it more interesting that way.
I'm thinking of nagging Rozenberg to teach me Japanese. I have envy. I shall embark on a mission to find a good site. Meanwhile, back in my thread out particles in the Japanese section, animeyay posted a really good PDF that really teachs quite a lot. I'd recommend that 'till I find a good site that's free~
My post in the Say Random Things thread is probably butchered beyond all hope. How DARE Rozenberg ignore me, the 女王様?!
Hrm, I haven't really read any of the past games /is fail. The last I read was MaruDashi's Alice version, but that confused me so much I stayed away from Wolf, lol.
Ah, it's been a while since I've seen ｢花｣ as "ka". That I'm just not good at recognizing meaning with romaji anyway. ._.; Girlish nickname NUUU! おてんばなのに~ xD
And lol... I don't even say that. If they ask me what I was saying, I just tell em I was talking about food or something. So much more believable ROFL. /feels terrible. I dunno if my nephews were just messing with me or what, but yeah, they said I was mumbling in Japanese. They said the only words they recognized were "coffee", "games", and "baka". So I have NO idea. LOL. Yeah I think I kinda butcher the sentence structure sometimes. :/ Particles aren't too difficult (imo), but damn grammarrrr fdsjaklfds. I need a good site that explains sentence structure some more, because I screw it up way too often. x_x Do you know any?
And yus, you should join the next game. :3 Sign ups will be up by either this weekend or next, it depends on how distracted I am. >.>; Btw have you read any past games?
Well, you see, Ryukako is 竜花子~ I gave you as girlish a nickname you can get LOL
It's so fun to curse at people in foreign languages, isn't it? You can tell them you were callin' them beautiful or something ;D
I wish I could speak Japanese in my sleep, lol. All I do in my sleep is growl like a rabid dog.
The main reason I never stay with many language learning things is because I know the basics, but it's the sentence structure which is second most important to politeness level (and particles).
A skillet, rofl. You need one of those ancient, giant, completely iron woks that pioneer women used for cooking. Those should suffice.
ADDITION: I want to join Wolf now~ Just to show everyone what my "dark" side is like... MWAHAHAHAHA!!
Why kako? Unless I'm just really that bad... I immediately think of "hako". o_o
LOL "Dragonball was taken, so you can be Dragonbox instead~"
↑ new nickname
I don't need muscle; just a skillet should suffice.
Lol I'm just a mash of European mixed together. xD; But as far as I know no one in my family knew any other languages. :c So now I can mumble and curse in any language and they'll never know~ Apparently I speak Japanese in my sleep sometimes, from what my nephews have told me. o.o;;
Sentence structure, gaaah. That's like the main thing they don't teach you on livemocha. xD; But at least I enrolled in the course after I already learned the basics, or else I'd be screwed on the writing exercises, lol. I must check these Ameba blogs... >.<
Sì sì, quando imparo l'italiano, ti insegnerò~. x3
Well y'know, if you have the muscle on your side, the stalkers have reason to worry ;D
Italian seems like a nice language to learn~ I've wanted to learn that for a while. You'd think I'd know French and Japanese because of my parents but only my dad knows his native language. My mom is more like 1/3 Japanese.
The hardest part of Japanese is just the sentence structure, but looking at Ameba blogs help me, 'specially since most of them don't use certain dialects (e.g. Kansai, Kantou)
When you become a rich Italian translator, you'll hafta teach it to me.
LOL I know what you meant. xD
And yeah, Junior High School and High School, you know how it is. o_o; Having boys as 90% of my friend circle didn't really help either. ._.
I need to spend a lot more time on my Japanese studies, lol. I've been doing lots of Italian lately, so yeah. :x I'll try and keep them relatively even. ;-;
