Yes but with Harry Potter each book had its own story with an over-arching one throughout it.
And I am not against you doing it per series at all.
And of course. You can even argue Harry Potter was reviewed per book and not as a series either. I know it's a different argument but still...it works with Anime and TV Shows.
I'm not against them. It just seems anime is the only fandom that does it. But then the only comparison would be TV shows and that's about it since movies, books, games, etc. Are all one product. My main thing though is I tend to watch something all at once.
Other websites do them and it brings them traffic. (Of course, with the help of Animeshinbun) but still.
Even if I prove to you that it isn't pointless, you aren't gonna do them anyway. And that's good to know, make sure you know what you're talking about tho, and no bias. I mean, well bias (since it's part of reviews) is totally fine as long as it's educated.
I plan on doing reviews. Just wont do them per episode since it seems entirely pointless.
Then he changed his mind again, and I think I convinced him how they are better as well. (See the latest VM)
A lot of websites do per episode review anyway.
Unless you want to write reviews, you shouldn't worry about it, not to mention you aren't forced to do it per episode either.
Look and is are two different things. All it does is pad. And I doubt many people are going to use episode reviews to decide whether to watch an episode or not. They'll just go to other sites and look for series reviews. And Yoko changed his mind about a month ago when we discussed it.
I already explained to Yoko and Ace why doing it weekly it's better and it's not hard.
It's a lot more work but I already explained why it would make the website more active (or look more active) and overall beneficial.
Ace and Yoko agreed, unless he changed his mind again.
Oh and just a heads up, we decided we're just going to do reviews by seasons/volumes. Just makes more sense that way.
