  1. Bakemongatari, I've always wondered about that show. I've read it's really good but just never got around to watching it haha so yea I have my own list to catch up on too. If you get finished with it before me then feel free to send me your review of the show. I might bump it up on my list then, right now it's at #18 =)
  2. Well I'm glad, and that's pretty cool how a bookstore helps you iut kike that. I never thought to ask them about it here. I'm so happy! I'm finally off work! By the way, have you ever watched or read GTO, Great Teacher Onizuka? It's pretty old but it has a lot of values about life, love, and just trying to be a good person while still being yourself. It's one of my favorite shows that I could watch over and over again.
  3. So I have to read online illegally sometimes due to where I currently live. It really sucks.
  4. Aha, I understand. Whatever your reason, be it for the support of your favorite mangas or legal issues, I will support your decision and not ask you again unless it can be done the right way for you. I hope I didn't offend or insult you in anyway. But if you would, when you are able to read it, could you please? I'll even pay for it cause I like the story that much. Unfortunately I have no where to buy manga myself where I live in the crappy state of South Carolina. I've looked online but it's hard for me to find the trustful sellers. Already been ripped off a couple times myself haha.
  5. Oooh ok, I thought they were anime sorry and don't worry about grammar, it's ok as long as you get your point across clearly =) but would you like to make a deal with me? I promise I will read Yotsuba and A Bride's story if you promise to read Horimiya and tell me what you think of it. How does that sound? Truthfully, I was gonna read them anyway haha. I just wanted to ask you to read Horimiya please.
  6. And I've never seen Yotsuba or A Bride Story, I'll have to check them out after I finish Sankarea.
  7. Yea I think I can relate to the mech thing, it doesn't really peak my interest either. Right now I plan to finish Sankarea by the end of this week. I think it's cute and funny as hell but it has it's own unique and twisted darkside. I hope it ends well. I like slice of life shows too, it's just hard for me to find the good ones cause there are so many. I really love samurai shows though, Samurai Champloo, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Blade of the Immortal, Ruronin Kenshin, and a lot more. But overall I would watch rom/coms or slice of life like Sket Dance or that new one out called My Teenage Romantic Comedy SNAFU in english. The japanese title is really long and hard to remember. And Nana made me want to cry lol you can't laugh cause I'm a guy and it's embarrassing.
  8. Also I agree with you, I enjoyed the fact that it slowed in the 2nd season and especially how they focused more on Hotel Moscow. The way they portray the entire paratroopers platoon shed light on the way you look at them into many different views of opinions. I saw a honorable Captain and her squad keeping what pride, honor, and life they had left for the love of their country and each other as a family of soldiers. However on the other side of the coin I also saw the complete opposite. They were ruthless killing machines that would oppose anyone and everyone. Pretty much international black market dealers with the better military training. And I wish they made a live action movie with Samuel L. Jackson or Michael Jai White as the infamous Dutch!
  9. Sweet!!! I like Roberta the Maid, she can be sweet and innocent tending to your every need, then BAM! She bites your throat out if you piss her off. She's got some serious personal PTSD issues and they show all of it in her very own season 3 of Black Lagoon Roberta's Bloodtrail, you watched it already too right? And I also like the Rip-Off Church and the Samurai in Japan but I can't remember his name right now. By the way what genres are your favorites? I'm sorry I got a little excited rambling that I forgot to ask what you like.
  10. I have to look at the website I watch them all on to remember most of the names to tell you. There is this one manga called Horimiya that I wish was turned into an anime. Have you heard of it?
