Lmao, I have no clue about techniques. All I know is that you can join a choir or singing group.
They have lots of advices for you. Just record yourself at times, see if you have improved.
Try different breathing techniques, different pitches. Try to hear the difference, also feel it. etc.

Oh, well I was trying to improve my singing (I suck XD) and so she told me to talk to you about trying to make my singing sound better. =3 XD
