Gran Turismo 5: Prologue

Want to get away from fantasy for awhile? Need a break from those unrealistic things you came across? Well...I can't can't help you but Gran Turismo 5: Prologue for the PS3 can. Start your engines, I have a review.

Gran Turismo 5: Prologue

Pros:

  • Impressive graphics.
  • Realistic driving physics & cockpit.
  • Sounds great.
  • Variety of cars to choose from...

Cons:

  • ...but only like 70+ ( a fraction of what P  said)...
  • ...to top it off only 7 tracks...
  • ... and limited features.

Gran Turismo 5: Prologue

Okay, let's get started. Polyphony has released yet another GT. This is on the PS3 though and when see the intro. You'll be impressed by the graphics, taking the PS3 hardware beyond the limit. This is great compared to games like Motorstorm and Assassin's Creed. This game also has some of the top car manufacturers throughout the world like BMW, Mazda, and Ford. But unfortunately, only a fraction of the cars are here and a handful of tracks to entertain you so you'll be limited to what you do. But don't worry. This isn't the end of the world as I speak.  has upgraded the opponent A.I. for more challenge for those GT veterans.

Gran Turismo 5: Prologue

Polyphony has made GT so real, you'll actually see the interior of the car. To top it off, the driver's hands and head move. This is why GT5 is so awsome. There's also course guides for 6 out of the 7 tracks for those historians trying to learn about the tracks all over the world. And finally there's online play for GT but it is also limited. So most features won't be avalible until later.

Gran Turismo 5: Prologue

In the end, for those who are impatient, this game will keep you occupied for just $40 until the full version of GT5 comes out. With this in mind, you can stay away from fantasy for a while and can help you learn some history behind the game. I recommend this to those who like realism to pick this one up and play it while you wait.
