I wasn't all that excited to play Crackdown. My friend bought it scrictly for the Halo 3 beta. However, since the Halo 3 beta isn't up yet, we decided why not? Let's play it. Crackdown has by far, exceeded our expectations.

Although it only took me about 6 hours to beat the game, those six hours were enjoyable. Jumping rooftop to rooftop, collecting hidden orbs and althetics points. That's mainly what I did for the first few hours of the game. I love collecting things. If you do as well, this game is defintely worth picking up, aside from the general gameplay, and achievements.

The missions were way better than some of the missions previous games of this type have had. They weren't as extensive as some, but they required a lot more strategy and thought. Some of them were really tricky to figure out, so if you love puzzling games, this is a good one to pick up. However... Where there is good, there is usually also bad. Some of the missions were so completely rediculous or time consuming, I would have given up on them if I werent so hellbent on achieving 100 percent gameplay.

When you're done completing the game, it's still worth playing for the extra achievements. Which is one of the best things about the 360. Like Dead Rising, it has fun achievements. Such as throwing an object from 250 feet, killing 5 people while jumping through the air. Reaching the top of the tallest building... And then quickly diving off of it.

All in all, Crackdown was a better game than I thought it would be. Not a great game to play by yourself, but defintely one to pick up if you plan on playing with friends. This is only a one player game, and it has multi-player online. The online multiplayer however, is like Saints Row, and completely useless or playable. Playing on Easy, Hard, or whatever, it's fun and challenging. I personally give this game a 3 out of 5. And that's only because of the fun I had jumping rooftop to rooftop like Spider-Man.
