I'm making a new thread..
This is a rose I made tonight with colored Polymer clay for my mom's birthday which is tomorrow ^^ I'm making a Celebi with white clay to go with it(Celebi is her favorite) which I'll post sometime tomorrow after it's baked and painted.

I think its incredible. How long it take you to make it? We can even see your fingerprints on it. *copies them in order to frame you in near future* :p
Can't wait to see the Celebi.

Thank you Sigma. It only took about 10-15 minutes ^^ it's really easy to make and a lot of fun.

Ok, this is the same rose, but it's glazed now ^^
And this is the Celebi...the paint didn't want to work with me :| ...at all. So it looks weird and paint is in places where it shouldn't be ~.~

Hahaha wow! That's so adorable and creative!
I don't think the Celebi looks weird! It's a better job than I could have done~
And the rose is really pretty ^-^
I'm sure your mom will love it!!

Thank you! She did love them ^^

OMG the Celebi looks cutesy cute. The paint does look a bit weird but it still looks amazing. Especially how you did the eyes. You can tell that it would have turned out supper super awesome if the paint had cooperated with you. How long it take you to shape the Celebi? It looks like it took a whole while.
10-13-2010, 09:01 PM
Thanks ^^ to shape it, it only took about 5 minutes o.o but to paint it...it took about 25..

The rose is very pretty! :)
And... I don't know what a Celebi is, hihi, but I think it's cute, I agree with Sigma. It'll definitely look awesome if the paint worked with ya. ;)

Thank you Ellxeevs ^^ I loved the rose so much that I made my mom, so I'm going to make like 5 or 6 more soon to keep in places of my room! XD or just to keep on my desk :3

Those are so cool.
The celebi looks awesome, and the rose looks so real.
HOW COME YOU NEVER SHOWED ME THOSE?! ;)
Keep it up Kirako.

Takumi, I've had it on Facebook :P I'm glad you like them ^^
Here are a bunch of clay roses I made last night -2 because 1 is the same color as one and the other 1 I made for my niece because she whined to my dad about wanting one.
Might be weird, but I named the picture "Flowered Rainbow" because I put the clay roses in sort of a rainbow line ^^
Violet red, red, orange, yellow, green, light green, blue, turquoise, purple, black, silver, and white.

WOAH! The silver one is definally my favorite. It must've taken so long to do all of them. O.e
10-18-2010, 09:09 PM
I agree with Takumi, the silver one definitely looks the best our of all of them. Its soo shiny. :p Can I keep he blue one?
Nice job, that must have taken a really really long time to make, and they look beautiful. Too bad about your keyboard though. :(

Pretty rainbow~~ *^*
I like the silver and the violet red one the best :3
And glad that your mom like it! ^^
That's funny how your dad wanted one too :P Who could blame him haha

Wow! I really like the roses! The Celebi is very cute as well! I love working with clay, but I haven't done so in years, and I'm no where near as talented as you are. One time I did make a small heart shaped clay box in the shape of Sailormoon's locket from Sailormoon S though, and it turned out pretty good, but that was years ago and I no longer have it.

Get a jug of warm water or vaseline. Dab your fingers in one of these(water is the best) and your work shouldn't have any finger prints in it. If it does just dab some more water on your fingers and gently rub them out.

Nice work. They're all good. ^^

Waay overdue for an update o.o
And one of my favorites: Flareon ^^
11-15-2011, 01:31 PM
Wow I love the roses. :D

Awesome work. I like them a lot, especially that little alien guy. =D
I especially like the roses you made :) I'll have to learn to make those myself! And I do agree that painting figures take a lot longer than actually forming them...when I work with painting clay, I usually mess up on the colors :( Your colors are very accurate though! I tried to mix those paints myself, and they...usually don't come out xD
I like the silver rose among the other colors like most people :) My second favorite would be the deep rose red!
