It looks nice but personally, I would cut out and remove that ribbon off her kimono. It looks out of place. Over than that, try experimenting with text?

I don'tknow maybe you should put a picture in the bg. She looks like as if she is showing us something like a tour of ancient Japan.

Just a suggestion, maybe it'll work maybe it won't iono, but you could try to make the bars fade out instead of just stopping solidly. Well looks good ^^
