and you were talking about bright bg's your bg is primarly white, Well hmm looks pretty good like the green theme, the txt dosnt match the bg though, the bg is sharp and techish, I would sharpen and maybe tech out the righting some...right now its too blurry

i think its the backgr that doesnt fit. the font is cool, with that green bar ( love that color)
oh and clean the hair extraction, its a little bad.

Yea I don't think the background fits Naru either. Just my opin though ^^ Extraction could use some work but otherwise its ok ^^

To clarify on the hair extraction thing: The edges on the hair are jagged and basically need to be cleaned up.

I like that first background better too. The weird liquidy thing doesn't really work for this pic.

Some places seem a little pixely. Also the outline of Naru looks kinda jaggid, I dont know if that because you cut her out, or if it is just the picture.

Actually, you don't wanna sharpen the image, you need to blur the edges slightly. The easiest way i know is to select the transparency of the layer the main character is on, grow it by 1 pixel, feather by 1 pixel and delete. That will blur the edges enuff to cut out some of the jagged edges.

That techy stuff dosen't work in there. Try something a bit softer and more suited for the character.
