Would you make the Eye Deal?

Do you think if you found a Death Note you would make the deal?
I was thinking about whether I think I would quite a lot but in the end decided I probably would make the deal but only after it cam to the point where t looked like I neded them unless I found it decided never to use it.
Two things I was thinking were that it would be hypocritical to use it to shorten other's lives if you wouldn't shorted your own and also as they say in Red Dwarf,"Better to live one hour as a tiger than a whole lifetime as a worm."
So I think if I had one I would make the deal.

i would just get the names the old fashioned way

I don't really know. I mean it would kinda cool, but at the same time it would probably start to drive you insane seeing flashing number's in your Face all the time.

hmmm i picked the "Yes but not straight away. I would wait until I need them to lose less life" options, because its actually pretty easy to get someones name, i mean if u really want to kill someone with a deathnote you could just follow them home and wait for their mail to come......but ya if im being cornered by an L like character i would make the eye deal xD

I would make the deal and then use my shinigami to spy on people. Then when I get so mental that's when I'll try to take over the world with the power of the death note.

Not like others, I would make the eye deal without waiting for the last resort to come.Why? The answer is simple.
Guilt. If I would make the eye deal, I wouldn't feel so guilty for using death note. Somehow it seems right to shorten your own lifespan, when you're shortening other people's(killing them). And besides it would be easier to use death note knowing names..

I chose the one where I would make the deal but not right away. Because I don't wanna lose half of my life and the Shinigami eyes might be taken away from me. And I would just use it when I really really need it.

It would be nice to see people's names... but I think it isn't really worth getting because, once you make the deal... it will cut your life-span which I do not want. Also, it might get annoying after several days of seeing people's names everywhere.

I would definitely take it since im somewhat young, and probably won't die any time soon anyway. Being able to see names and lifespans would be a great help if I had the Death Note.

I would never make the eye trade. I agree with light that in order to change the world you have to live as long as possible. I however would be more practical and attack people working in communications and transport, so that I could cut off the worlds links and therefore make it easier to control. Vini vidi vici.

no way! If i found the death note, and obviously would maybe try it just the once, but then i wouldnt want the responsibility of being the owner, even though Ryuk is pretty cool, i would prefer Rem tbh...! I wouldnt have the death note, even my own worst enemy i would not kill!

No. As I am 14 now, if I live to say, 84, that means there's 70 years left.
Half of that is 35. 35 years from now, I will be 59. That's not long enough.
I would also never use the DeathNote, so it doesn't matter anyway.

and i'd never use it. it'd drive me nuts to see everybody's life expectancy just floating above their heads. i couldn't live with that. i'd end up telling people when they were gonna die and then i'd be put in an asylum...

Its half or your remaining life-span, so if you die at 30, instead you'll die at 22 and a half.

They can't see their own lifespan or that of any notebook owner. Misa tried looking in the mirror and asked Rem why she couldn't see it and Rem explained . It was also how Mikimi knew that Light was Kira and didn't write his name. Everyone else in the room had a lifespan above their head but Light didn't.
