I think everything at the top of the image, the text and the bars, needs to be changed. Gradients are, by and large, a no-no. It seems like you were going for a sleek look with the boxes and the line, but they just crowd the top. They would work better if they were thinner and more subdued.

a bit lighter that black bar and the text(and less saturate) , take the colors from the uniforms :)
it's better without that big grey thing :^_^:
