I spent about 7 hours during the past week working on this one, mostly due to extracting robin. Tell me what you think. This is 1024x768, but I also have a 1600x1200 version if anyone wants it.

Very nice...everything fits well...I especially like the candle!

very nice! my only suggestion would be to move the candle down so it's in the lower half of the wallpaper. this will also make the character stand out a bit more.
I'm digging the text in the background. brush or scan?

The text in the background is a brush from Annika von Holdt. Her brushes can be found at http://annikavonholdt.com/brushes/. Normally I wouldn't use a premade brush like that, because popular brushes become recognizable and then if you recognize the brush, it draws attention away from the character. But in this case, I wasn't going to be able to make background text as well as that. It just fits.
I moved the candle down, I'll post the change in a couple days in case there are some more adjustments. The candle was higher than it really supposed to be because I was trying to compensate for the empty space that existed there before I put the vial in the image. Now that the vial is there I should have moved the candle back down, but didn't see that.

IT's pretty good, but I'd work on making the text look more like the majority of the wallpaper
You need to make the candle look less flat and rectangular; make it more cylindrical. Other than that, it looks awesome.

Yeah, I agree with Miko. The candel looks too flat.
Other than that, great wp.
PS. When it's done can u pleas upload 1600x1200 resolution, I want it as my new bg!

Ok, new version. The candle is lower, the candle has adjusted lighting effects to make it seem more cylindrical, the vial has lighting effects from the candle, the text I'm not changing.
If you've ever looked at a candle at night, straight on, with one eye, it looks pretty flat. Especially if it's the only light source. So I adjusted the lighting so it would be less noticable.
I thought the vial looked kinda plain, so I gave it lighting effects and a reflection from the candle. Now it looks like it should be there.
If you look at a lot of my past wallpapers you may notice that in order to keep the dark feel I'm going for, I leave a lot of empty space on the top and the bottom. So I'm going to leave the text where it is. Just trying to keep it my style. =)

Now seems more realistic but still is a bit strange.
PS Now I've found my new bg!!

For those who are interested, the version of this wallpaper I just put on the AW.com submission thread here (http://www.animeglobe.com/ubb/index.php?showtopic=1312&view=findpost&p=22222) is slightly different from the version here.
I altered the tone of the candle again, less orangy, more creamy. I brightened and added some effects to the circles in the background. I slightly altered the way the lighting shows on Robin. I think I raised the compression quality just slightly as well.
