I just want to try to have a discussion about Chobits. There is a couple things that confused me and I want to see how others feel about it too. These are spoilers as it deals mainly with the ending, so don't read on if you haven't seen it. Minor adult content may be involved but if you've seen this anime it has much worse adult content then what i'm posting.
Anyway, I guess i'll start off with asking: Do you think Chii is able to have sex? I didn't think so until Dragonfly dude touched her down there and she said "Only one person can touch me down there, and you are not that person." And the first time she got touched down there, I think the "voice" in her head said something like "No one except the one for you can touch you down there". It seems to be her 'on' switch too, but again, maybe it's not a switch after all? I don't know, in the ending she said "There is things that a Persocone can't do that a human can do." I was wondering if she was implying sex as to that. He said he doesn't care what kind of relationship he has with her as long as he can be with her. So that kinda foreshadows no sexual relationship. It's just kind-of shady I don't know what to think of it.
The second thing is, what do you think happened at the end after Chii came back to her senses and Freya got supressed/deleted? It showed her crying, then her eyes going from lifeless to back to normal. Then it showed an aura spread and a bunch of the other Persocones also started to gain the same type of eyes (From lifeless to full of life). The girl in black at the end also blushed when she got hugged, when she didn't prior. I'm thinking maybe that aura gave off some kind-of reaction that allowed Persocones to have emotions. We'll never really know though :\
Guess that pretty much covers it, just want to know what other people thought. I'm glad to know that some anime's can have a truely happy ending, though!
