what's your favorite romance anime?

i'd like to know what your favorite romance anime is for two reasons, the first is that i just like hearing what other people think and the second is that i'm kind of stuck on what romance anime i should watch i have already seen many so please help!!!

Rumbling Hearts is quite a good series. It is pretty depressing though with the main character being involved in an accident and the problems that are caused for her when she awakens.

Romance Anime? Well, I have a few but I guess I would really like to recommend the dramatic story of Clannad.

I have a few issues with this anime since the first Clannad had a lot of boring episodes but Clannad 2 made me cry a lot with its heart-warming episodes.

The first and second seasons of clannad has bits of romantic scenes that made me go "Uwaaa! >///<".

Anyway, a manga I'd recommend reading (if you haven't read it yet) is Absolute Boyfriend. I don't know if others agree with me but this manga sure made me want to beg for another sequel. xP

Full Metal Panic- This is a good mecha with a strong undertone of romance. It isn't very heavy on the fan service but it does have a few ecchi/comedy scenes.

Toradora- Welcome to the updated version of lovely complex. It has all of the classic cliches a good romance should and has them placed at exactly the right moments.

It's a combination Action/Romance, but I have to say I love the Tenchi Muyo series. Though I was dismayed when they switched Ryoko's voice actress when they went to Ryo-Ohki, I still finished the series.

I would say Chobits is a good choice since the leading lady is soooo cute and her partner is so freaking funny! Its kinda one sided coz you dont see some of the usual dialogue but its endearing.

Clannad - Nothing ever came close to Romance as that show in my opinion...
Kanon - I actually liked the Mai and Sayuri relationship! and it was okay but yeah didn't have romance lol
5cm per second - I almost was moved to tears...
so I would say the Number 1 Romance type Anime is Chobits! I mean come on, an Android loving a Human? :)
