I just ran across some info for this but i've never heard of this show before. Does anyone know if its any good? I can pretty much figure that its romance, but in what vein? if its pure sugary romance drama then i probably wont bother. I generally prefer the shows/manga that revolve around one guy and a bunch of girls that end up living with him for unrealistic reasons (hilarity ensues).

I didn't go past ep1 of the anime, but Okusama wa Joshikousei manga by Hiyoko Brand is just borderline eromanga.

The girl has such a wild imagination... but her husband (her own homeroom teacher, they go at pains to cover their marriage status) suffers from ED or something. There's also her horny little brother and her pissy old dad who always gets inbetween them everytime it starts getting raunchy (i.e. your typical Japanese damper plotdevice).

Nope, no harem here, but Asami compensates everything for being gorgeous. She's kinda like a younger version of Yura-san from Futari Ecchi.

k so i've watches the first 6 eps so far. its really not a bad show, so long as you come to accept one thing. this is the msot awkward marriage you will ever see. i get the whole having to be secretive about it thing, even the contract with the dad saying they cant have sex til the girl graduates. but why in the world are they so incapable of any other sort of affection? basically you'll be watching their marriage play out like two kids JUST starting a relationship. yeah its weird

on to the stuff guys care about (the important stuff). the character designs for the girls arent all that great. but for some reason once the main girl is naked they suddenly draw her body differently. so while in clothes she's pretty boring, when she's naked they magically make her hentai-ready. there's also a supporting character that comes in after some time named Sakura that all the guy should be down with, regardless of how much clothing she has on at one given moment (usually not much at all)

so basically it checks out for a romance anime. unrealistically awkward relationship? check! eye candy? check! something for everyone!

only thing it lacks thus far is some actual heart. yeah i know "man card revoked" and stuff, but all jokes aside that what makes a romance anime worth watching. we'll see if they manage to get to something more meaningful than "we havent done it yet" or other insecurities that a married couple shouldnt have anyway. makes you wonder what the target audience is, deals heavily with the girl wanting to get laid so not exactly appealing to the young an innocent crowd. deals with a lot of paper thin "problems" in the plot so not really for the more experienced crowd either.

its like awkwardly in between, but it has enough kooky charm that i'm still watching and wanna finish it. so i guess this is me giving a "good not great". i recommend giving it a shot. please dont judge it by the horrible intro music....i guess thats where the budget ran out

kay about 13 eps in. gotta take back what i said about the show lacking heart. there are certain situations where you find yourself really feeling bad for the main character. i can imagine a pretty major (compared to the already major ones) conflict will come up near the end as the climax. its a show that lacks mainstream appeal, but thats part of what makes it neat.

i wonder why i'm reviewing this as i go instead of just finishing the darn thing....okay no more updates so you have to check it out on your own! unless something major happens that would affect my final review...

i'm not finding it HILARIOUS but i have a good chuckle whenever the main character daydreams about screwing her hubby in the weirdest places. i imagine the sexual fantasies of an actual high school virgin girl are quite similar

i think the funniest was when they go on vacation to the beach and she imagines them doing it during the fireworks show. when they fall to the gorund together (and out of view) you hear her go "oh danna-sama" in a lusty voice. i just died a that part for some reason.

also sakura's intro episode was pretty funny. mostly because i found her character extremely believable. i was like "yep, strippers probably go daddy shopping with the kids every now and then"

lol yea they were all funny parts to the show but when you get to the end you will laugh at what happens in like the final scenes because its really funny

just finished! man the ending sure was hilarious! I really enjoyed this show. I'd recommend it to everyone except romance anime haters and the kid above (though he should give it at least a shot since he says he hasnt even heard of it).

i like the humor of this show. the funniest parts are often really subtle, though Asami's sex day dreams are comedy gold. I think i laughed the most at how the two main characters handle certain situations (someone needs to grow a backbone) and the teacher chasing after the main dude can be funny at times. I thinks its really unfortunate how Sakura became sort of an afterthought once her hilarious intro episodes were done, she could have been a comedy gold mine.

now i'm off to find something else to nurse that empty feeling you get once you finish a show. i've been putting off the final episodes of Queen's Blade and i need to get back into Outlaw Star (that show brings back memories)

I just finished this Anime a few day ago. The intro an end themes are awful,
my poor ears still ache. Although i wouldnt say this is a bad anime because there are so many heartwarming moments and the Charakters have very believable personalitys.
i still dont get how these two could bekomme a married couple -_-
I suspect the peopel who made this anime dont know this either, because there is no explanation or a review in the whole Anime
