I've just realized that I never shared this wallpaper with AF.
Well here it is. Took me a lot of retries and a lot of criticism from Mikadzuki, my personal large piece critic.

Hopefully you'll like it.

Literally, my ONLY beef with this are the default grass brushes that were used. Looks pretty good though, I don't have any suggestions that would make this a particularly stunning work of art or anything.

Alright, first off, this one is how old Balance? A few months old? I am sure you have newer and better stuff.

Now then, with this one, I agree on Cante's comment on the fact that the grass is a bit too plain with the fact is just one Photoshop brush. But the thing I notice is that lack of the horizon line the back creating the unique depth that the grass is indeed going back into space. Like if you look at the grass in the back and compare it to the front, there is much separating them in terms of depth. The shadow from Suiseiseki does hint the depth, but its there for its own sake and needs more to contribute it.

Secondly, the top area is just a mass of green. Why not add from tress or some forest or something? It just seems really plain with all your other effects going on, and I'm sure you could just pick up a forest background and integrate it in here in a matter of minutes.

So I guess the thing here to keep in mind is that your mixing two things, an anime character to a realistic scene. So you want everything looking like everything falls into place. So what I would recommend along with the forest background is you take a Gaussian blur on the grass and with a nice big soft brush, erase the bottom of the wallpaper with the grass so the grass going further back looks like its getting farther and farther away. Got all that?

And lastly, REMEMBER TO UPLOAD THIS ON ANIMEWALLPAPERS. You didnt do when I was chatting with you earlier, and I felt really insulted that you did that. Just wanted to throw that out there.

i find its really nice. i like to read my icons too but you can add a few minor details and it would look less blank, besides that , the girl is really cute ^^
