This is the OOC thread for Shadows of Calamity, this is a growing RPG so as it progresses your characters will be able to get new abilities, if you think your character is ready post the ability here and I'll look at it, if I'm not sure I should approve it we'll take a vote onthe ability.

I was thinking since Crine has a very acidic base salive, he would have a very acidic...well juice inside of him.
And if you ever see those zombies who like throw up that acid on you. Yeah I want Crine to do that one of these days.
This will be much later of course. I think his abilities are fine now. But if Calamity gets pretty popular I want this ability. heh. Cause it's gross and cool.

but yeah 6 post limit as a MAXIMUM per day. starting now everyone has six posts they can do, so 6 more posts for everyone today.

@Reniti well when the plot of a stoy is done generally the goal is achieved wouldn't you say? But I hope to have it be a long while before we have to worry about that.

I don't think we need a post limit. If people are staying in one place and not actually wondering around then it's fine. I mean if people are sitting on the bench and making scenes of that sitting on the bench while waiting for others I think it's fine.

The post limit was put in place because people would log out for a short while or to sleep for the night and come back with ten plus posts to read to catch up on. So this post limit was set in place, it's also, from what I can see, a fairly high post limit for this site.

I still don't think we need one. That's like complaining about MM by Sunnyside and how there are more post then people can catch up. I don't mind reading a few pages of post.

If you don't have time to RP maybe you shouldn't sign up for an RP. That's ruining for those who do have time. Same as don't make a RP if you don't have time.

Please don't insult me or the other Rpers by saying that and please be more mature about this, and by having time to Rp you must mean have no life, if we were to be on so that we can read every new post when it comes up we wouldn't have time to do anything else.

I would prefer not to lose you as an RPer in my Rp and prefer to put this behind us, but if you insult the other Rpers again you will get a second warning.

See 10 posts in a row between two people doesn't exactly encourage someone to pay attention to those characters as it means they are content in interacting only with each other. Admittedly if a good repartee gets started between to characters it is fun to do, and I have fallen to that temptation myself on many an occasion, we should still post with the collective RP in mind, and thats means trying to be inclusive as possible.

That's my point. If it doesn't involve anyone else, then it should be fine. I'm sorry if you have lives. But right now I'm on summer holiday and I have time for this. Therefore I signed up for an RP to RP. Not to be limited on what I RP or how much I RP.

As I said, I'm sorry they don't post. That is the issue with AFs RP. If you are online then post.
Don't be scared to RP just because people are going back to back to back.

In all of the RP sections I have went to, back to back post between two people is fine. It ends up happening. And no one complains about it.

I want to RP when I want to RP. I don't want people telling me: But your posting back and back I don't RP any more.

I don't like waking up in the morning to be punished for a rule I didn't know about until I would wake up when I actually would have time to read the OCC thread.

Given we can't make posts relative to everyone all the time, but glutting the RP with posts that are relavent to only one other person discourages people from reading the RP. There simply aren't enough people on AF to make an RP of only those that post constantly, and many of those who can't are good RPers who we'd be losing for no reason.

Accept the warning and move on like a mature person, Funny_Bunny did, you should too. When I have school and I get home late. I read the pages. And I'm encouraging them to skip my post when they don't have time to read my post. Get where I'm going.
When you don't have time read the post your more involved with. When you do have time read all the post.
That's how I prioritize it and it works.

I'm not saying the RP section should only be made up of those who have the time. I'm saying if you don't have the time to RP and your going to make complaints like this then maybe RPing isn't the right thing for you. But if you have make time with your busy day and understand that RPing will go on because you aren't on holidays then fine. Prioritize it.

And you could make the excuse that I'm trying to get them to cater to me. But they are trying to get me to cater to their lack of time.

I don't have anything else to do. I mean I have video games, but I live in the middle of nowhere. And all I have is my writing, my music, and my video games. And my books. I don't like being cramped.
And I'm being cramped.

People complaining about RPing. I can't believe it. They should have expected RPing would be going on. Or what were they expecting. Everyone wouldn't RP the moment they leave.

The world doesn't revolve around them either. You could use the same argument.

Please don't make me break out statistics I've looked up about posting in RP forums that do have post limits.

Also I live in the middle of no where, excluding my neighbor, 30 miles till a house. I'm a model, I live in the here and now scene life (by scene I don't mean pop) so I have to leave my house, a lot, I have to do stuff with work and friends and family a lot, I'm a busy girl and I still have time to run and Rp, not everyone does though accept that fact, and before I had a car to do all that with I was exactly like you, but if I had Rped back then I wouldn't have complainined about a post limit, I think it's entirely fair to have one.

If what you said is true and you sign up for every Rp then post in those more than this one when you get bored,

Also 6 posts in 24 hours thats a post every four hours on average, the RP is only really active from the hours of about 2 P.M. to about 6 P.M. so that's a fair amount of posts

Also you have rearly posted more than six times in one day, if you hadn't done it yesterday you'd still be unaware of how much you post. Most of the time you probably wouldn't even reach the post limit. So stop being self centered and quit complaining I'm being fair to everyone and that include you if you'd do the math.

I'm sorry. It is well off in the morning when I wake up. I wasn't expecting any of this to happen and I snapped. Because I hadn't realized the new rule in the OCC thread. I was very groggy, but there I had just woken up, and still am.

*Just found the OOC thread* XD Yeah, I tend to oversleep, the only reason I didn't this time is because I wanted by body to wake up at a certain time,and for some reason, it did....dunno, anyway, the limit is nice for people like me whom end up busy doing the day, or end up having to worry about maybe oversleeping and playing catch up @_@ which was not fun. I didn't know what time it picks up...also I ended up sleeping for about twelve hours that day...XD My bad.
