It seems that a live action rendition of one of my favorite anime movies is coming out. And this video is real, I saw a commercial for it on G4. I actually want to see this. It'll rinse the nasty flavor of the Dragonball movie out.

Note- this isn't Blood +. It's just Blood. So some of your favorite characters won't show up.

If you like Bill Kong (producer of Hero and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) and big, "Kill Bill" swordfights, than this is the movie for you. If you are looking for good film adaptation of Blood: The Last Vampire, then you are going to be a little out of luck.

The movie has as much of a relationship with the animated Blood: The Last Vampire that Blood+ had: some, but at the same time, barely any; there are enough similarities between them to let us know that they are related, a little bit more than what the Dragonball movie had with the Dragonball series (which, as you can imagine, is not saying too much).

A good fan of the series will see the similarities and will have a sense of nostalgia watching the film. However, at the same time, fans wonder what the heck is going on, as the movie does a relatively poor job at explaining the new plot.;)
